Block By Block - HOW TO BUILD A PODCAST V2
Diana Gladney 00:00:00 - 00:00:45
Recording a podcast in ECAMM is actually no different than recording any other video in ecamm. It's all done in the live to tape format. So you'll plan out your scenes and overlays in advance and then when you're ready to record, you'll just flow through those pre planned scenes to build your show rather than having to add in those elements in post production. All right, so now let me show you a really cool example of a podcast built out in ecamm. Here is the countdown, nice and clean. And if you notice down there, we have placeholders for the podcast episode title and the episode number. Here is the host camera. And let's say Ana has a guest on her show.

Here's the guest graphic, and here's the host camera. And here's the interview scene. And I have two more samples of interview scenes. Here's another one. And one more just to give you ideas of how you can build out your podcast, especially when you have a guest coming in. And if you plan to be live, it's cool to have a scene for comments. So. So here's a scene for a live chat.

And here's another sample. And we have a closing scene until the next episode.

And there you have it. With eCamm, you're not just recording a podcast, you're producing it in real time. Just hit record, switch your scenes as you go, and when you're done, you got a polished episode ready to go. Now it's your turn. Set up your profile, hit record, and see how smooth your podcast workflow is going to be.
