What is ECAMM Live? ECAMM Live is a video production software built for Mac that allows you to live stream to multiple platforms, prerecord your content, show up branded in your virtual meetings, and wow your audience with your virtual presentations. I'm going to show you how easy it is to get started with eCamm, no matter what your use case is. All right, so here's where the magic happens. This is the ECAMM Live interface. Now, when you first launch the app, you might not see a video feed. If that happens, what you need to do is go up here to the menu, click on Source, and then click on Camera. So let's say it was blank. You're going to click on Source, and then you're going to click on camera and your video feed should appear.

Now, the next thing that we're going to go over are the scenes panel, the overlays panel, and the sound level panel. Now, if you're not familiar with scenes or overlays yet, do not worry about it because in this series you're going to learn all of that. We're going to dive deep in how you're going to be able to create designs like this. You're going to be able to create camera overlays just as this one, create lower thirds just like this, bring in your logo so you can show up branded in your virtual meetings and much more. For now, I'm going to go back to the interface to continue the walkthrough. Now, you have your overlays panels here, and you have your sounds levels panels here. If these are not available when you first open the app, you just have to go to Window. And in Window you can choose all, all of the these panels here, right? So you can select the.

Right here we're going to go to scenes and then sound levels, right? And then overlays, right? So you can select all of these windows that I have here. You can also select the overlays panel through via this menu right here. Okay, So I would suggest to to have these three when you first get started. And the reason why I'm saying this is because you're going to need a scene and you're going to need overlays. Not necessarily, because right here you can just record this screen like this. But if you wanted to show a branded, then you will add a lower third. Right? And again, you're going to learn all of this in this series and the sounds panel because you need to know if your sound sounds are coming through, if you're muted, if you're if you're. Your sound levels are, are where you want them to be, etcetera, and etcetera.

Again, don't worry about it. You're going to learn all of this in this series. So now let's say you want to record. You want to record a video, whether it is for a client or whether it is. You're going to live stream. So I'm going to show you a scene. This is a picture that I took of the menu. And this is, the menu is going to show up right here.

So you see where I have recording right here. This is where that menu will be. And in there you can select record only if you're only going to be recording. But if you're going to be live streaming, then you will toggle on stream. And I will suggest if you are live streaming, also to click to leave record on so that your recording can be. Your recording can be recorded. Pardon the redundancy, but okay, so that is that, that's how you will select live streaming or recording. And that's it.

Right now that you have that toggle on that you're going to. To record or you go into live stream. Then for from down here you will have that option. You will have either go live or you will have record. And then you start recording. This is it, just like you see right here. It will give you an indication that you're recording and it will give you your, your timing, all of that good stuff. Right? So now let's go over.
