So today, we have a ton of news. It has been a heavy news week, because there's lots of major releases. Yep. App good applications are finally starting to come out for some things that were released just a few weeks ago, and so we got a lot to get into. The big news that I gotta kick it off with, because this is gonna be the thumbnail title and all that kind of stuff, is ChatGPT 4.5, finally out in the wild. And, I made good. Last episode, I said, by the time we get to this next Bot Bros episode, I'm gonna upgrade to pro.

It was a good thing I did because that's the only people who have access to this thing right now.

Uh-huh. Yeah. I tried to update the app to see if I had access, but I definitely did not have access.

You do not have access. No. You will get access next week to 4.5 in the plus account. The reason why they had they wanted to launch in both right away, but they didn't have enough servers ready to go. So they're like, okay. We're just gonna put this out to pro because this is a this is gonna be a bandwidth hog. It's gonna be a memory hog. We need way more servers ready to go.

We've we've been working on this, but they're just we're one week away from deploying it to the point where we can get plus users on it. So everybody will have it real soon. But if you're on pro, now is a good time to jump over pro if you wanna test it out early. Maybe I may it's probably worth waiting a week if you don't unless you wanna throw down the $200. 2 hundred bucks? I'm not what I did for other reasons I'll get into. But I will say, bro, it's fantastic.

4.5. It just kinda fills in all it smooths out all the little rough corners about four o. You're like, man, it sounds good. It sounds like I'm talking to a person. No. It writes well. The humor has come up a lot level. It's not like everything's, like, woah, like, through the roof.

But, like, you gotta remember, like, four o was actually already pretty dang good. Like Yeah. I liked working with it all the time for all kinds of stuff. I it's made me four o's made me laugh. Four o's made me almost cry. Like, it's like not maybe not almost cry, but, you know, when you put it put in that prompt where you're like, hey. Tell me something I don't know about myself based on what you've learned about me. You know, you put in that prompt and it gives you feedback.

You're like, oh, you know? Four four point five more so across the board. Wow. And I repeated some of those prompts of, like, hey. Tell me something I don't know about myself. And I'm like, woah. It's it hits even harder. And, like, in little, like, un hard to measure ways Yeah. Across the board.

I asked I did some tests with it and just say, like, hey. Take this blog post that I wrote, more like Chet GPT wrote for me earlier, and repurpose it into three LinkedIn posts. No other form no other prompts other than turn this into three LinkedIn posts. They were good out of the gate. Hardly any tweaks needed to them. It just sounded good. Now I've already have a lot of, like, prompts and instructions on the account level. So, like, it's pulling from those things, and it knows a lot about me in order to it kinda knows what I like at this point.

That's why it's hard to move from chat GPT because of all the memory features. You're like, I don't wanna have to train a new system. But first impressions on 4.5, every I think everyone's gonna really like this thing. I think it's gonna be good.

So tell me, Dan, why did they name it 4.5 and not five o?

Well, Sam Altman released a post a few two weeks ago or so.

it was even a week. Gosh. It it feels like we're living in, like, dog years. Like, somewhat It feels

like yesterday.

AI updates are going on all the time. But he released a little bit of a road map. He's like, hey. 4.5 is almost here. We this is going to be our last non thinking model. K. Okay? Five o is months away. So four they said this was a week or two ago.

They're like, 4.5 is weeks away. Five o is months away. I've seen speculation from some news sites. Maybe they had a leak, I don't know, saying it could come out May. So that's just around the freaking corner. It's like February now. You're like, my gosh. And five o is going to be in a culmination of all the models together so that you no longer have to select one, one pro, 4.5, whatever.
