So today's podcast is the start. Stay creativity and happy New Year. So this is the I'm going to start off with this podcast of this year, which I'm pretty excited. This podcast is actually supposed to be up a long time ago, but things happened and I was a little nervous and to be honest, but we here now, we hear now and we got the podcast going. And I didn't mention this on Double Zero, that this podcast is actually also towards those who are motivated, well, kind of motivated. But those who are ambitious, the ones who wants to work on theirselves, develop themselves, learn how to be an artist as a business, as an entrepreneur, and entrepreneur as an artist. So, in a way, I have this belief that no matter what we're doing as an entrepreneur, which I'm entrepreneurial, and I'm an artist as well. So as an entrepreneur, I'm an artist, and as an artist, I'm an entrepreneur.

We'll talk about that more on other episodes of the podcast, but today's topic I'm going to be talking about that is nothing is original. Yes, nothing is original. So I'm quite sure you guys, whoever listen to this, you haven't heard of this. You can look up steal like an artist by Austin Cleon. I probably butchered the mess out of his name. Apologize about that. And there's another one if you can look up is everything is a remix by Kirby. Oh, my goodness.

Drawing a blank on his last name, Kirby Ferguson. I believe I pronounced his name right. So we're going to be talking about today's topic on nothing is original. And the reason why I want to talk about this, because there's certain things that this year that happened and things I see as an artist myself, as I see and ways I look at something else different, like from Austin, and know they look at things differently outside the box. Well, I don't believe there is a box, but they believe there's someone that's different, that's thinking that no one else is really thinking. So I got my own. We'll talk about this later on as a podcast. But I believe that everyone is creative.

That's the reason why the podcast is called stay creative. Because no matter what we're doing, we are creating something, but nothing is original. So let's get to these notes and to get to point number one. And point number one is going to be that there is nothing new under the sun. Echolaski's nine through one through nine verse from the Bible. So if you guys haven't know, that's the whole point of this. Today's topic, that is, nothing is original. Everything already has been done, okay? Everything's been done already.

Everything has been done and created already. And something has been on top of that. So think of, for instance, you know what I'm saying? Like, I was a kid when Myspace came out. We don't hear about Myspace anymore, right? You know what I'm saying? So now we got Facebook. Everyone's using Facebook. You know what Mark Zuckerberg actually. Did he actually try to create this? And was he the first one? No, he other. I'm quite sure there was other ones before Myspace, but Facebook just blew up.

Facebook got better than Myspace. Facebook stepped up their game. They got more creative, and that's really where they at. One of the top social media platforms we have today could change later on in the future, but nothing new under the sun. And another thing I want to talk about this with this is because I forgot his name at this moment, but the artist that's doing the Dragon Ball super manga, right? So there's a lot of people who, I believe it was March of 2018. Well, the day I'm coordinating, this is still kind of still 2018, but it's going to be 2019. When I put this out, but I forgot the artist's name. I can't think of the person's name right now, but this person, people on Twitter think, turgitaro, I'll probably butcher to mess out his name.

But anyway, let you guys know who that is and we can talk about it on the other. You know, everyone made a big deal with Goku having the same pose as Captain America, and people saying they copying, he copying, it's not original. Could be wrong on what I said about that. But I heard a lot about it. I heard an uproar about it, and there's no copyright over a pose. What he did was he grabbed the pose. He uses that references as me as an artist, because I draw, too. We use things as references, okay.

We use things as references so we can look at something, build off of it. We can change a little bit. He did change a little bit. It wasn't exactly like the captain american pose, but people made a big uproar about it, and he took it down and he put it up with the original. Not the original, but the finished process with some yu gi oh illustration. You can go ahead and check that out, but look that up. But people made a big deal about it. And to me, I kind of didn't understand why the people made a big deal out of it.

You can't copy a pose. You can't copyright a pose. And there's nothing wrong by tracing a pose or tracing something. He uses that references like artists, artists. What we do is we use things at references. And as me, as other people, that's not artists. I say to my parents, when I started this artist journey of mine, when I was, I believe I was 16 at the time, I was playing basketball. It's more into basketball.

But they believe that if you look at drawing something out of your mind without your mind, that makes a great artist, and that doesn't actually, all the artists that I've been around. They use references, they use something to build off of, then they use it up, they change it up. They don't make it exactly there. Exactly the same pose. Artists make things exaggerated the action line. But the thing about it is that people made a big deal out about it. And that's what I wanted to talk about this topic with nothing is original, but you can go ahead and. Go ahead and get the book still like an artist.

And also look up everything is a remix by Kirby Ferguson. Make sure you guys do that. And we're going to be talking about more on the podcast as well. So that's what I'm talking about. Another thing is to those who are entrepreneurs, I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about, but make sure you can look it up.

But it depends on what I like. But this is the stuff I look up and I like. But anyway, you know, another thing that people made a big war about was black clover. Yes. The manga black clover. The anime black clover. People was complaining, bitching and complaining about how it was similar to Naruto. It's annoying.

They do from the anime. He's too loud or things like all. They've taken stuff from other things. It's not original. The thing about it is nothing is original. What he did was what you're going to talk about this. He did a remix, he remixed. He took those things that he inspired.

He stole some things. If you ever read the book still like an artist, he put in his little ideas and whatever you want to do, he brought it out and that's how he came up with that. And I'll be honest with you, my series that I'm working on, I'm still developing, which is falling sun sin. There's a lot of things that I'm taking from, a lot of things that I'm stealing from. However I'm going to be making it, it's going to be something to make it my own. I'm putting my own little flair to it, my own little spice to it. That's what you got to do. Put your own little spice.

And that's what we're going to talk about tomorrow's episode, which we still on point number one right now. So nothing is original. Everything new. I'm sorry. There is nothing new under the sun. You know, what I'm saying? So here's the thing. When it says in the Bible, the thing that has been, has, which shall be in which is done, that which shall be done, is there no new thing under the sun? So there's nothing new. Everything's been done.

Internet, you know what I'm saying? Somebody made the Internet. Yes. There's a quote. I say a little lyrics from Ludacris. He said, if it hasn't been done, I'm a doer first because I'm the master of the Ludiverse, which he's talking about his universe. Okay. You are the master of your faith, capturing your soul, what you think about. Thoughts become things.

But if it hasn't been done, he's going to be created. It's going to be difficult. It's going to be hard because I'm going to tell you about the other topics that we're going to have today. So today's topic is nothing is original. So point number two, nothing comes from nowhere. You know what I'm saying? Nothing comes from nowhere. Here's a quote from Austin right here that says what good artists understand is that nothing comes from nowhere. All creative work built on what came before.

Nothing is completely original. So which I'm reading off my notes right here, but so nothing is completely original. Something already built off before. Think about Disney Hollywood, you know what I'm saying? I didn't bring up the first point, but they do stuff that's already been done. They already done something that already been built off. And Disney does that. If you look at the old Disney with the animations and stuff like that with Aladdin, I believe Aladdin was a story before. Snow White was a story before.

And go ahead. If you're an artist and want to get ideas of stories, go ahead and subscribe to the Myths and Legends podcast. I haven't listened to that podcast a while, but it'll bring a good ideas where the original source or where the original text or source where it came from, you know what I'm saying? So that way you can where it actually came from. So that's the original source that think it is from their actual story of Snow White, which is many different adaptations of Snow White. They got with different mythologies and myths, which that's going to be something I'm going to have in falling the sun of sin, which is going to be pretty cool. And it's been done. Something already been built off. Mark Zuckerberg, he already built things.

I mean, there's already social media platforms. He probably built, I don't know the whole history of it. I should be looking this up. But there was already other social medias. He came in and he built some other work logging off some other stuff, and he built on top of that. But then he twisted around and something made it better. Where Myspace just got tore up. We don't even speak to Myspace.

I was just looking up Myspace and it's just not even. I think I just listen more with music and stuff like that. I don't know who bought it, but time is gone. So nothing came from nowhere, you know what I'm saying? Like we said, nothing new is from under the sun, from the Bible. We don't know what the Bible actually has a acronym which is basic instructions before leaving earth, but we're not going to talk about that right now. So we going to talk about another thing. Is that. So the way you want to do is steal? Steal? Yes.

So nothing is original, nothing came out of nowhere. A lot of people steal from, a lot of different artists steal from each other, which is. I believe this is a quote from Pablo Picasso, which is artist know you got to steal, you got to take little ideas, put it in your little box and put it somewhere. So that way when you want to bring it out and use it, you can take it out and bam, you use it. You're using it. So here's another quote for Jim Ricasso, probably pronouncing his last name right. So here's something right here. From this, nothing is original.

Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration to fill your imagination. Devour films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams. Random conversation, aquaculture, bridges, streets, signs, streets, clouds, body of water, light and shadow. Select only things to steal from that speaks directly to your soul. If you do this, your work in theft will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable. Originality is nonexistent. And don't bother concealing your thievery.

Celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember that General Lucas Gordon said, it is not where you take things from, it's where you take them to. Kind of messed that up, but yeah. So grab whatever inspires you. Grab whatever inspires you. Use it. Devour old films. George Lucas, he devoured old films.

Samurai, I believe it was samurai Seven, the old old one, I believe. So with Star wars. So things, they use things, but it made it your own, which is three. We're going to talk about it in later episodes of this podcast. So, art is death. There's nothing completely original. Nothing comes from nowhere, if things already been done. However, if it hasn't been done, you could do it first because you're the mastery own universe.

Remember that. Okay, so point number three. Today's topic, nothing is original. Completely original is. It's a remix. Talked about this before. Everything is a remix. So think about it.

With hip hop, you got a hip hop beat. It's a remix with new lyrics, but the beat is the same. But with hip hop and music, they use different tones. They use different sounds to make something that they used before. Basically there's a lot of old stuff that's been used today. It's still today. Kendrick Lamar, he's the ivy brothers from what the song was, I believe the song was I if I remember. But they still use artists.

We still use old stuff artists, even with animation, we still use references from the time with the. Oh my goodness, can't think of it. But we still use old art and references from older times like the, I want to say the Renaissance. That's what I was thinking in my head, the Renaissance. We still use old stuff from Renaissance, a reference from the masters. Study the masters. So that what we do is remix it. We grab different ideas, different paintings, different movies, different scenes, different cuts, and we use it and we put it in our box where we can our ideas of a genealogy.

So that way we can use it and make an originality of our own. Original to our own. So that is the remix. Remix is everything. You can go ahead, look at Kirby Ferguson on everything is a remix. He has a four part series about that. And in point number four is educate yourself and study from others, which I talked about in point number three. So you got to study.

Study the Master, study those who came before you. Study them. See what they did, see what they've done. Try to think. Imagine what you can do, what they've done and how they do it and why. And then learn whatever they learn from what they learn. You know what I'm saying? So that's what you got to do. And there's a quote, and this is go from business wise, basically business.

So this is a quote from believe from Jim Rohn. Education will make you a living. I'm sorry? General education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune. So the schools, I mean, I saw general education, but keep on studying, keep on learning. Keep on building upon your creativity, your imagination, your finances or any type of knowledge that you can get your hands on. And study those who already done it. Don't be what they say.

The pioneer. I forgot what they get little was it arrows on their back because they trying to figure out to do something that's already been done. And think about this for business. I haven't bring up business, but think about this for business. I have an online business, online digital business. Someone, my mentor, they already got the system created, 90% done for you. All you got to do is the other 10%, which is getting. Basically what I had to do is get in leads to get people.

That's the system that's already built and actually already have results. You can get results, but you have to do the work. But there are systems like that. There's stuff that's already been done.

Somebody already built it. Why build upon it? I mean, I won't say build upon it, but take that, use that. Use that. That's something that's already been made. Then later on you can create something that you can originally your own, but you're grabbing ideas. That's for business, though. For business using somebody else's system, somebody else's product. So that way you won't spend a lot of money trying to build your own product.

That's one reason, one way you can do it. And keep on educating yourself, keep on building yourself. Learn from the masters, learn from your mentors, those who are your mentors. And point number five, which is 48 laws of power. Law number seven, I'm going to read it to you right now, which is get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit. Yeah, that's a long pause right there. Always take the credit. This is something different.

This is something with laws. But anyway, if you haven't read 48 laws of power by Robert Green, I suggest you go ahead and read that book. And this is a great little law to know for those who are artists, even with businesses. Okay, so with Tesla. Tesla, he ended up working with Thomas Edison, and Thomas Edison, he had inventions, and Thomas Edison, you guys don't know. He actually didn't invent the light bulb, but he said he did 10,000 ways that did not work. He actually invented the light bulb, but even with Henry Ford, he actually invented the automobile. But it was just mass production.

He invented something that was mass production. I could be wrong on that. But with, basically, he was getting used, and somebody else was taking all the credit, which was Thomas Edison. There's another individual as well, and everyone's just stealing his ideas. So the thing about it is, this is talking about with stealing, basically, and what I said before, with someone doing something that's already been done already. You're just using it. You're copying. You're stealing from it, but you're using it.

Everyone does it. This law talks about it. If you read that book, 48 laws of power, which I have it right here on my desk. Right here. Not my desk, but he talks about this. Okay, so here's the other one. It says, use the wisdom and knowledge of lead work of others to further your own cause. Not only will such assist save you valuable time and energy, it will give you a godlike aura, effective and speed.

And your helpers will be forgotten, and you will be reminded. I know. You will be remembered. Never do yourself what others can do for you. So if you're trying to build something, when somebody say, hey, be original, you know what I'm saying? I want to be original. They wasting time, energy. They wasting time and energy just trying to be original instead of. I won't say taking the credit a little differently if you look still like an artist, but this is something we're dealing with, power, but do something that's already there but built upon it, and you can create something that's unique to your own little flair to it.

That's what I believe, and that's what I think that will happen. Yeah. That's the 48 laws of power. Law number seven. So law, I'm sorry, not law, but point number six. Today's topic, nothing is original. So everything we've been talking about this with, nothing is original. Nothing.

Just come out of nowhere and everything, all your ideas and everything that has been created is a mashup. Okay? It's a mashup. Think about it. I'll say, with, you know, even with Dragon Ball Z, there was already a story about the Monkey King. I forgot what he got it from. I can't remember it right now, but it was already there with the Monkey King. There has been so many. Hollywood does it so many times.

Oh, my goodness. The Romeo and know type of pitch. There's been apocalypse. A lot of apocalypse movies that's been done, but things are a mashup. You know what I'm saying? Things are a mashup, even with Batman and Daredevil, is kind of a little similar. Even with Black Panther. I'll say, could be wrong on that. Don't quote me on that.

But yeah, everything's a matchup. So what you got to do is surround yourself with ideas just like this from business. Even those who are artists as well. There's another quote. I forgot who. I think it was Jim. I think it was Jim Rohn. Could be wrong on this.

You're the average of the five people you spend the most time with. So if you hang around with ten broke people, you're going to be the nice broke motherfucker, basically. Excuse my language if you all, but this is a specific podcast, and this is how usually I talk. I haven't been really cussing on it much on this episode with expensive language, but you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. So surround yourself with good friends, those who are creative individuals, those who will help you, help you grow, help you build upon your imagination, help you with business, help you motivate you, want you to win. And surround yourself with great ideas. Surround yourself with ideas that you like, that you can grab things that are worth stealing, things that you can use to make something unique to your own, to your own creative work. But it's still a remix.

Everything is a remix. But the ideas are. Genealogy is a genetic kind of genetic makeup. Think about our dna, okay? Our dna takes two people, right? Two people, a woman and a man, and boom, we have a child, right? That's a mashup of two individuals. DNA into one which don't know our genetic code cannot be copied. Basically, everyone has a unique genetic code and a unique genetic code that cannot be copied. You know what I'm saying? I mean, somebody can copy you. We're going to talk about other things, other little things like that.

But you can go ahead and check out work on your gay podcast, because Dre talks about this. He talks about this. But yeah, everything's a genetic. Basically a mashup. Our ideas is a mashup. Things that we inspire, things that motivates us, things that we grab our ideas and we use, you know what I'm saying? So we got a mashup of things. Remix. That's what makes it a remix if you haven't read, still like an artist.

So that would be it for today's topic. So let me go ahead and recap. Nothing is original. Point number one. There is nothing new under the sun. So things that have been is which has shall be, and that which has done is that which shall be done. And there is nothing new under the sun. So poses cannot be steal cannot be copyrighted.

Just what we talked about with Dragon Ball Z, with the artist that's doing his dragon Ball super manga that was getting persecuted on social media, on Twitter, it's already been done. Copies, poses, all that's going to be done. But he changed it up to make it unique of his own. He did probably trace it, we don't know, but he made it unique of his own. Black clover. Black Clover is a mashup in many different things, many different animes that I love, that I've noticed, and other little inspirations as well. Point number two, that nothing comes from nowhere. So what a good artist understand is that nothing comes from nowhere.

All creative work is built in what came before and nothing is completely original. So nothing is actually completely original. Everything is built upon something. Everything is already built upon something. And think about this, Mike. Even with the telephone that you're listening to, the device that we listen to you to, it was a telephone at first and it just got built upon. Built upon what? The phone that we have today is smartphones. Another thing is art is thief thievery.

If you're a business owner, if you're an entrepreneur, you are an artist. And you're an artist, you are an entrepreneur. And right here, point number three is it's a remix. Things are a remix. It's a mashup, you know what I'm saying? Point number four, educate yourself and study from others. Study from others, study for others and make sure you don't take your time and energy and struggle, what it has to be, you know what I'm saying? Struggle. What you're trying to build, what you're trying to build upon, which is point number five, law of the book 48, laws of power. Law number seven, get others to do the work for you and always take the credit.

Use wisdom and knowledge and legwork of others to further your own cause and nothing will such save you available time and energy and will give you godlike war and efficientness and speed. And your helpers will be forgotten and you will be remembered. Never do yourself what others can do for you. That's leading to point number four, which educating yourself, always looking to build upon others. I mean, not upon others. Built something that's already been built so that way you won't waste a lot of time and energy because time is valuable. And that's one of the five forms of investments. You can go ahead and go into my blog.

And point number six, which is genetic, sorry, it's a mashup. Our DNA is a mashup of two individuals your mom, your dad. And we come up one person that is a unique genetic code that cannot be copied. Somebody copy is not going to be efficient as the original. It's not going to be efficient as original. That's just talking about what nothing is original. That's dealing with something else. But surround yourself with ideas.

You're the average of the five people you the most time with. So average. So be around people that motivate you. Be around people that build you up. Be around the people that will give you ideas. So that way you can build upon your creative work and not even in your credit work. You know what I'm saying? Also your income, also the way you want your health. You want to talk about health on here too.
