Is a self made, self taught interior designer who grew up in Buffalo, New York, and attended college at the State University of New York SUNY at Fredonia, where she received a bachelor's in communication with an emphasis in public relations. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to chase sunshine and new experiences. She also jumped from marketing job to marketing job all while helping friends and family with their interior design. In 2019, what started as a hobby eventually turned to a side hustle to her corporate marketing role. In July of 2021, Stephanie made her side hustle her main hustle She realized that interior design was always the one thing she could get lost in for hours. It was the one thing that she could do and always be happy. Stephanie wrote me and said that listening to ADHD for smart ass women, this podcast has gotten her to where she is today, It's helped her to learn about herself and the way her neurodivergent brain works. She claims this podcast has even helped her in her personal life. We'll talk about that. Today, she owns a boutique design firm in Charlotte and has one full time employee. Is it Charlotte? It is. Yep. Oh my gosh. I always mix up Charlotte, Charlottesville, and Charleston. Yeah. Literally, one time I booked a plane to Charlotte. It was the wrong place I ended up rebooking to Charleston. And then as I was sitting at the, terminal to get onto the plane, someone ran by and said, The flights to Charlottesville have been canceled due to weather. I got up, ran downstairs, got in line to figure out what to do next, Meanwhile, my plane to Charleston took off. There's something in my brain between those 3. I cannot get it right. So I I did that. You've done that too.
