Blaine

First day we, she was one of the first people in our DM's who had purchased the product, tried it out, and gave us a lot of feedback as we started to grow it. So we're really excited to have her here. And not only that, she's a super experienced content creator, live streamer, and an expert in repurposing and creating content across multiple platforms using her live stream and being able to generate that into all different sorts of content. So without any further ado, Tanya, I'm giving you the floor. So you do this a lot better than me with the live streaming. This is your thing. So I'll let you kick us. Kick us off.

Tanya Smith

All righty, folks. Hopefully everybody can hear me well. Can you hear me okay? I think so. All right, look, I am super excited and thrilled to be here. I am a huge supporter of past magic and the team. And when they asked about, hey, do you want to be a part of this workshop thing? I said, yes, absolutely. If I can support in this way not only the team, but also the community of folks who purchase cast magic who are thinking about using cast magic, by all means, sign me up. So I am super thrilled.

Tanya Smith

It is a Thursday, the day before my birthday, and I couldn't celebrate better than doing this with you. I'm going to do something. I'm going to switch over to some slides. So what I will do is make sure that I pop these slides up for you in just a second. Now, I'm going to warn you that it's going to be super duper pink. Thank you, Brenda, for the happy early birthday. It's going to be super pink, but that's a part of my branding and it's really just how I like to roll. It doesn't mean that I'm excluding anyone who doesn't like pink.

Tanya Smith

It just means that I want to welcome you into my pink bubble. How about that? Okay, we're going to talk about how to repurpose. That's what we're here for. So let's dive into this thing. How to repurpose a webinar or an event with cast magic. And since we have about an hour, I'm going to just give you a heads up that I'm going to attempt to give you all of the goodies. So my goal is to share with you at least ten different ways that I personally use cast magic to repurpose a webinar or an event. And I'm also going to show you the back end of my cast magic so that you can kind of see the setup in action and give you an idea of something that you might be able to use.

Tanya Smith

But another thing I'm going to do is something that's a little interesting, something that only the world of AI has allowed us to do much more easily and simply. Many of you, as you signed up for this event, actually filled out a survey. It was a short survey, but it asked you what you wanted to know, what you wanted to learn, and it also asked you, how are you currently using, repurposing and specifically with cast magic. So I'll share with you the results that I saw when I used AI to analyze the entire spreadsheet to get an idea of what some of the top themes were. Because that way, hopefully this will be more value added for you and can give you exactly what it is you want and what you need in order for you to be effective at getting the most mileage out of your own content. So let's go ahead and do a dive in. And I think I might have skipped a slide there. Well, I did.

Tanya Smith

So I'm going to go back real quick and look, I don't want to spend a lot of time on me, so I'm just going to say this because Blaine already did a brief introduction. I have been a video marketing coach for several years, but I've been a business coach for almost 20. So for quite a long time. My business is get noticed with video LLC. And look, I'm the last person who ever wanted to do video. But when I started doing it and doing it strategically and intentionally, and I started managing my content in a very responsible and purposeful way, things just blew up in a good way. And so I am here with you today to be able to share just a little piece of how I've leveraged content, specifically my video content, for webinars and events. Now, some of you may be doing audio summits.

Tanya Smith

I know that LinkedIn live audio rooms have been kind of a really cool thing lately, but what I'm going to focus on today, because video is my thing, I'm going to focus on video and I will try to scan the chat. But I know that Greg is going to help me out a little bit, too, with some questions at different points. I will also pause in case there's a need for any context clarity. If there's something that I need to go back and say, hey, let me clarify what I meant here. So if you do have questions, pop them into the chat and I'll do my best to keep up with that. Okay? As a matter of fact, let me make sure I pull that up on my screen so I can see. And Valerie loves pink. Yay.

Tanya Smith

So see, I have some. I have some fellow pink people in here. Okay. You can find me at streamlikeaboss tv. And there's other spaces on social video coach Tanya primarily. But let's talk about you, because this is not about me. It's about you. Benefits.

Tanya Smith

Why should you even care about this topic? Why does it matter? Why did Blaine and Greg come up with this topic with me? Because there are tons of benefits to repurposing. And honestly, I think that repurposing is at the core. It's at the heart of what cast magic is all about. It allows us to really get the most mileage out of our content, so we get to maximize our content value and extend the life of whatever it is we're creating beyond just that 1 hour, for instance, workshop or webinar that we've done. It also allows us when we repurpose effectively and when we're intentional and on purpose. You hear me using those words a lot because I think that has to do do with putting strategy around your content creation and development. It lets us reach new audiences. Why and how? Because everybody learns differently.

Tanya Smith

People consume information in different ways. Some people like you know to consume a podcast. Some people like to read. Some people tend to scan their socials all day. However, people want to learn to. What you're doing with your content when you repurpose it effectively is you're giving new audiences an ability to consume your information in the way that they choose. So it helps you to expand your reach. The other thing it also does for you is it helps you to build your brand credibility.

Tanya Smith

So your thought leadership, instead of you just showing up one time for that 1 hour workshop, you're now showing up all over the place. Because the content that you're creating out of that one 1 hour workshop or webinar or event has now become something that can be out in the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you don't have to physically be in the space in order for other people to see and consume it. So there are tons of different repurposing benefits, but these are the top three that I would definitely share with you that I spot right whenever I see someone effectively doing it and they're doing it right, they're reaping all the benefits, and that's what we want. Now, I mentioned to you that I took the information from the survey that you filled out from the poll and I wanted to understand, what is it that people are requesting? What do you want to know? So that I'm not just sitting here being a talking head, right? I don't want to just download on you. But what I discovered when analyzing that spreadsheet is that you asked about streamlining and automating, which, by the way, is one of my favorite things. You asked about how to actually put together a structured framework. That's my jam. So I'm going to help you with that and provide a framework for you.

Tanya Smith

You asked about how to generate new ideas from the content that you've already created, and you also asked about lead generation and engagement. All of these things can be accomplished where you live now. I think somebody might not be muted, so let me go ahead and ask that everybody mute, please. All right, thanks so much. Okay, so those were your top requests. That's what you said you wanted to know a little bit more about. So I took that into consideration when building this out. Blaine, Greg, if there's anything that you want to input as I'm going through this, feel free to, you know, speak up and say whatever you need to.

Tanya Smith

There's top three ways. This was something else that you were asked in the survey. You were asked about how you're currently repurposing and the top three ways I asked the system. Okay, so analyze this and tell me what are the three most common things that people are typing in to the poll? And it said you're using it frequently for social media posts, which is not a surprise. You're also using cast magic specifically for repurposing for your replay pages, which is genius, of course, because they've given us an easy way to do this inside of cast magic. And then you also mentioned blog posts and articles, so I can absolutely see how you would do that. And we're going to talk about actually at least two of the three of these out of the list of ten that I want to get through today and share with you. But before we go there, I'm going to say this.

Tanya Smith

Replay pages, Patricia. Yes, I can do that. But then I'll also show you when we get over into cast magic in just a few minutes. So just briefly, what a replay page allows you to do is when you're. You've uploaded your video. So let's pretend that you've done a workshop or a webinar. You've uploaded that webinar, and now cast magic gives you the ability to be able to actually create a page that has the video content. And it may have other formatted content that you've decided to produce based on the prompt.

Tanya Smith

So it might have your transcript, maybe it has a bulleted list of the top five themes that you talked about in the webinar. It gives people an easy way to consume the workshop or the event on a single page. But I can, if we have time, I'll show you a few extra little things and bonuses, because cast magic is full of bonuses, and I know they have even more things to come. So we were just talking about that before we went live. Let's talk about this whole idea of a repurposing framework. So I love frameworks, because anytime you're using acronyms, it can give you ease of memory. And I mentioned that my birthday is tomorrow, so I'm going to just tell you all the older I get, the less I remember. So covered up with acronyms like this really are helpful for me, and I hope it's going to be helpful for you as well.

Tanya Smith

Recap is the framework. So the r stands for reviewing your content. And let me back up and say this, let me give you a little bit of, of intentional context behind this. So what I'm talking about here with this framework is this is really what I do before I create a workspace, or as I'm creating a workspace in Cas magic, as I'm thinking about how do I want to use this content? Okay, because we're bucketing our content in cast magic, which again, I'll show you in just a second. For those of you who are not yet cast magic users, what you'll find is that you can create a workspace according to the type of content you're using or producing. So for instance, I produce a live stream show every week, and there's a different set of content that I want to get an output for. When I'm doing streams versus if I'm doing a one on one coaching call, there's a workspace for that. So this repurposing framework is really the method that I use as I'm thinking through how do I want to build out the workspace? And then after this, I'm going to show you the actual workspace, and then we're going to get into the ten pieces of content.

Tanya Smith

So first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to review the content. Let me make sure this is big enough so that you can really see a full page. Okay, so the recap r is for review your content. So first of all, you're thinking about the nature of the topics that you're actually wanting to cover within that workspace. Since we're specifically talking about webinars and events today, I want you to think in terms of webinars and events, because everything else that I say after this is going to have to do with that. So if you're thinking about a webinar or an event, there's a certain maybe list of things that you want to be output from cast magic, because this specific content is going to be used in different ways. So let me give you an example. Maybe this was a paid workshop, maybe it was a free webinar.

Tanya Smith

Whatever type of event it is is going to determine what you want to do with it afterwards. Because if people paid to attend, you may not want to reproduce the entire event for free for other people because that's going to tick off your people who paid for it. Right? So again, we're being strategic about the output. So evaluating the potential and thinking about, well, how do I want to reach people with this repurposed content once it's finished? Once it's produced in cast magic, how do I want to use it? Do I want to use it to engage people in a free space? Do I want to use it as a lead magnet? For instance, do I want to use it in my social media post? You're thinking about choosing your formats, which is next. So rec, we've gotten through so far, and choosing the formats that you want to repurpose your content to. This is what we're getting ready to cover in a few minutes is the ten ideas. As I came up with a workspace specifically for webinars, I chose the formats that I specifically want to output each and every time I deliver a free workshop. Okay, so in my case, and in the example we're going to use, this one was a free workshop.

Tanya Smith

Okay. And then number four, or adapt. The a for recap is about adapting and creating prompts. So we're thinking about the prompts that maybe cast magic has already given us, but then we're also thinking about, well, do I want to adapt or create my own prompt? Is there something specific and unique that I want to create? The beauty of cast magic in my mind is that it gives you the ability to do both. I can use what you've already created for me and that's a shortcut, or I have the flexibility of being able to create my own unique prompt that gives me exactly the output of information that I want to use. And then finally we're going to publish and distribute. So that is the repurposing framework. So as you're thinking about creating your workspace to repurpose, you want to think about all those things.

Tanya Smith

What's the content that I'm going to be putting into this space? What are the potential ways that I want to use it? What are the formats that I want to create out of this? And then what are the prompts that are going to get me to creating the format? And then finally I'm going to actually take action on this stuff that I produced. I'm going to publish and get it out into the world, because the ultimate goal is that we want people to see it. We want it to live on even after the workshop's done. So this is my recap framework, and let's talk about how this looks in cast magic. Before we go into the ten. If we're good, I'm going to pause for a second and I'm going to see if there are any questions in the chat. I don't think so. Ah, I love it.

Tanya Smith

Okay. I see this, finding this very valuable already. Good, simple shift. That would change so much. Yes, because ultimately we want to make the most out of this time. We put the time and the effort into creating this content, so we want to get the maximum value and output. I'm going to switch us over into cast magic so you can see a demo that I've created. I did this just to be safe because I do have some client information in here.

Tanya Smith

So I will kind of give you or show you a little bit of the back end of how my setup is. But you're not going to see a lot of content in here simply because this is a demo that I created just for you. So you get the special treatment today, the rest of these workspaces that you see over here for me, and if I need to make these a little bigger, I can try to do it here. And if we need to blow it up even more, just let me know in the chat, because I'm paying attention, so I can get you what you need. I. Okay, awesome. Thank you, Greg. Okay, got it.

Tanya Smith

Blow it up a little bit. Let me try to do it a little bit more, because some of us, including myself, I have mature eyes, so I get it. And hopefully that helped. Okay. All right, so now you're able to see over here that I have the demo space that I've created, and I've already gone through the process, the framework that I shared with you just a few minutes ago as far as thinking through how I want the workspace to be set up. I've added a recording in here. This is actually from a real workshop that I delivered this year for an event. And then we'll go into prompts in just a second.

Tanya Smith

But just briefly, I'll show you what other types of workspaces I've created for myself. So I do have a full webinars and virtual event space. I've got my YouTube channel, which is linked through Zapier, so that as I do a live stream and it gets put into a specific playlist, it can get pulled over. Now, I know YouTube has made some changes recently that have affected this with a lot of platforms, not just cast magic, but just giving you the gems. The gem is that you're able to actually automate a lot of the processes through Zapier when you connect it properly with cast magic. So my YouTube channel, when I go live, I have a specific set of workspace prompts that I use for that. My membership academy, a new series I'm about to do. There's really specific things I want to do with this because it's not evergreen.

Tanya Smith

Now, that's something I didn't say evergreen. When you're thinking about actually creating your space for a webinar or a workshop, I want you to really think about. Remember we talked about thinking through what are the objectives? There's a difference between when you're creating time sensitive content versus evergreen content. I would tell you that probably 85% to 90% of the time, if you can create Evergreen content and repurpose that, then you can continue to recycle and repurpose and send it out and distribute it without worrying about it being time sensitive. But there may be times where you need to create some time sensitive content that is just for a specific launch or a certain period of time, or it only applies in a certain season, right? Yeah, I know. I love. Yeah, I would like some more options as well. But I do love what we have right now.

Tanya Smith

I do. Okay, so here we go. Let's talk a little bit. You kind of have an idea of some of the things that I have over here. Let's talk about these prompts. So remember, I talked about coming up with ten repurposing ideas. So I'm going to show you this in cast magic. Then I'm going to go back to the slide deck and kind of break down each one of these for you.

Tanya Smith

And I'm also going to give you, I'm going to share with you the exact prompt that I use. Now, if you're like, hey, I really want those prompts, and I want the slides afterwards. We can make sure that you get a copy of those, but I'll say more about that at the end. Okay, so prompts, when I go into the prompts, and I've blown the size of this font up enough, hopefully. Louise just said, no, make it bigger without. I don't want to compromise the layout right now. So hopefully, if you on your screen can at least see the titles, that's the main thing I want you to see. Okay.

Tanya Smith

All right, so inside of this space, and I'll show you as well on the slideshow, Luis, in just a second. So you'll be able to see it there, too. Blog post, social media post, a cold three touch email sequence. I'll walk through all of these, a lead magnet option, podcast episodes, short video clips, a quiz or assessment threads, infographic and checklist or worksheet. Now, I'm again going to walk you through each of these, so don't worry if you can't see it well on this particular screen. But I'm showing you the setup, and currently I have all of these inside of the workspace that I created as the demo to make sure that any type of recordings I pull into this workspace will instantly output those ten pieces of content. Because I was intentional and thoughtful about how do I want any type of works work, not work areas, but webinars, any type of webinars, virtual events that I pull into this space, how do I want them to output. So the recurring set of prompts is what helps you to do that.

Tanya Smith

Okay, so once you've set up your recurring set of prompts inside your workspace, this is what's going to give you the magic. This is what's going to help you to quickly and easily be able to repurpose your content. Okay, so let's go back to the slides, and that way I can really kind of dive in. And this should be larger print for you, larger font. Okay. Yeah, I'm not sure I see that note there. So hopefully with the recording, and I have a recording on my end as well, so we'll make sure that I get that. To Greg and to Blaine, the top ten content repurposing ideas, you're going to learn about ten different ways to repurpose your content, and what I'm going to do is to leverage the example webinar that I just showed you.

Tanya Smith

So the one, it's a real workshop that I did. I'm going to leverage that to give you some ideas on how you can use each of these different types of content prompts. Okay. So I will give you, I'll give you the format, I'll give you the use case. Like, how might you use it if you had a workshop? And again, we're working with the one that's on camera. Confidence. And then I'm going to give you the actual prompt. Okay.

Tanya Smith

And each of these pieces can work together with other tools in order for you to actually create something beautiful and gorgeous. Because if you're doing a blog post, for instance, you're probably not going to just leave the blog post in cast magic. You're probably going to pull it over into your WordPress or your go high level or whatever you're using at the moment. So I'll touch on some of the third party platforms, but the focus will be on the use of these ideas. Okay. All right, let me see. I see a question. Are the prompts suggested by cast magic? Thank you, Greg.

Tanya Smith

Yes, it's a combination of both. So I've created my own and I've used some that are already in the cast magic prompt library, so we can talk a little bit more about that too, as we go. All right, so here, let's get into the top ten content repurposing ideas. So remember I mentioned that some of you filled out a poll and you were like, hey, these are the top three ways that I use this tool. One of the top three ways was blog posts. So many of you may already be familiar with the fact that you can repurpose your workshop or your webinar into a blog. Excellent. The reason why this is beneficial to you is if you are using it to repurpose into a blog, you can now put that blog onto your online real estate.

Tanya Smith

So now the blog goes on to your, again, WordPress, go high level. Whatever you use, it goes on to your assets, your online real estate. And as people are searching for you, you're increasing and improving your ability to have that search engine optimization because you've given Google yet another place to find you and specifically the place where people can buy from you. Right? So youre creating a blog that is going to give you a little bit of an SEO boost, help you to drive website traffic to your space. Because if you let people know, hey, I've created, I've written this blog about the recent workshop I've done, and you can drive people to your channel or your space on your website where they now can see other things that they have access to, whether it be lead generation forms that you have on your site or maybe it's information about your media kit or whatever it might be. But using a blog will help you with that, as well as helping you to establish that whole thought leadership thing that we talked about. So giving you that credibility, because you now have this series of blogs that are based on different talks you've given or that are based on your knowledge and your expertise. And it's just yet another way that people are able to consume your information by reading it and not just attending the workshop that you did.

Tanya Smith

Biggest use case in my mind is that you get to transform your key takeaways or your topics into in depth, informative articles. Because of course you can add to what cast magic produces for you. You can edit it, you can make it what you want it to be, make it more robust, slim it down however you choose to do it. But now you've got that blog post, so let me share with you really quickly the blog post prompt that I'm using. This one I believe is one that cast magic created. Let me go over here and I'll double check this for you. So here's what I did. This is my cheat.

Tanya Smith

Just because I knew somebody was going to ask, and one of you already asked about it, right? And you're welcome, Michelle. What I did is, you know how if you're using already created cast magic prompts, they have the nice handy dandy emojis or icons. So that's how I know it's one that's already created by cast magic. That's my cheat. If it doesn't have that, I probably custom created it. So blog post is one that exists already, and that's the one that I'm using in here. And it says, using the context from the recording, write a comprehensive 600 word block post, expanding on the topics discussed. Now, if you wanted to adjust and edit this further and create a different type of format for your blog, you absolutely can do that and just create a custom prompt for it.

Tanya Smith

But this is prompt number one and idea number one. Okay, let's go to idea number two, which is also because of course, I had to put the ones that you're already using. This is also one of your top three is you chose in your polls as a collective blog post, social media posts. And the third one was, does anybody remember blog posts? Social media posts? Let's see if y'all are listening. Okay, legion. Replay page. That's what it was. Replay page.

Tanya Smith

You got it. Haha. Love it, love it, love it. Okay, so social media post was the second one, and there are big benefits to that, of course, because you get to increase your reach and engagement by having all of these little mini versions of your workshop or your webinar out there in the world on your various chosen platforms. So wherever you choose to play, whether it's Twitter, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, wherever, but now you can create these social media posts and you can actually ask cast magic to take from your webinar and create quotes to pull out the most important stats, the tips to give you ideas for images. Right now, we do, of course, have a feature that is inside a cast magic that allows us to create some ideas of a studio option. But I can do a lot more with mid journey. Sorry, Blaine, but I can't.

Tanya Smith

I mean, you know, so what you can do is actually ask cast magic to create, you know, give you ideas for prompts that you can put into mid journey or dolly or another generator that is specifically designed to help you to create images using aih. So how cool is that? You can also, if I were talking it through the on camera confidence example, because that's my workshop that I have inside of my space. And I'll show you the results once we're done with the ten list, you can see a series of social media posts that are sharing quick tips for overcoming camera shyness. Maybe that's something I can ask it to do. And so now I'm sending out these little teaser bites of the workshop, and I'm saying at the end of my caption, right, I'm saying, hey, check this tip out that we talked about in our recent webinar to go and get the full webinar, go to this link, right? And then you can watch the full episode by sharing either a fee if you want to do that, or by sharing your email in exchange for getting access. So social media is an absolutely positive and common use case. It's an excellent way for you to really leverage this. Here's the prompt that I'm using for social media post.

Tanya Smith

Let me do my cheat real quick and see. Okay, I created this one. I might have started with something that was in the notion library. I may have done that, but then I expounded on it because I wanted to be able to pull additional information in. So I'm giving you this so that you can use this yourself for your own spaces. So extract the top five quotes or stats from the content that would resonate with whoever your target audience is, right? Create a series of unique and engaging social media posts, including a caption and hashtags for each. I always want to use hashtags and designed to increase engagement, generate interest, be innovative and relevant. Those are my criteria.

Tanya Smith

And so I wanted it to create social media posts that are going to be relevant to the people that are going to be a part of my audience. So there's your prompt for social media posts. Okay, I'm checking real quick to see if anything is there. Yep. And Greg, thank you for answering those questions. Love it. Because, of course, you're the expert. You and Blaine are the expert.

Tanya Smith

I just play here, but I love playing in this space. It's so much fun. Okay, let's do our next one. Number three is email. Okay, so email series. If you wanted to create an email series, there's a couple of different ways you could do this. You could do a cold email series, which means it's kind of like an outreach series of emails to people that may just be getting to know you. Or you could do a nurture series, which is people who are already kind of, like, in your space, in your community, they're bonding with you, but they're still, you know, they need to be nurtured and they need to be growing in your space and getting more comfortable with you and your brand and all of that.

Tanya Smith

You can create a series based on whatever your specific objective is, which takes us back to the formula, the framework, right. Because you're thinking about the specific objective or the purpose for your content in that workspace. So whatever that's going to be, that's how you're going to create your email series prompt, so that it gives you the delivery of the email format that you want. You definitely want to be thinking about how you can deliver value, but at the same time, you might not want to say all the things, because if you give it all away in your email series, what's the point of them coming to find the full webinar. Now, there is one instance where you might want to give it all away, and that could be if you decided you wanted to create an email series that is kind of like a study series, because there are people that like to learn and consume information in that way that maybe they wouldn't sit in on your one or two hour workshop, but they are good with you sending them small bites every day for two weeks. So you could turn it into that type of email series. There's lots you can do with it, but you just need to formulate your prompt in such a way that is giving you what you're asking for. Now, in my case, I actually use this one.

Tanya Smith

So I said, hey, using context from the transcript, I want you to craft a short and to the .3 part or three touch email sequence for a cold outreach campaign for the business. Use the following format. So I gave it the format. I told it, don't give me corporate jargon. You could say other things like make it easily readable for a 10th grader. You can say, did you know this? You can say, I'm an MBTI intJ, so I'm a Myers Briggs or I'm a disc. Personality assessment high c. You can tell it whatever you want it to tell or what you want to tell it about, personality, tone, brand, all of those things.

Tanya Smith

And it will then generate the output according to the instructions you've provided. Now, I know that's going a little bit deep, but you can learn a whole lot about AI input and prompts just about anywhere. And many of the series that the folks here at cast Magic have sponsored have provided more advanced information about that. So I highly encourage you to go back and watch those replays and just keep studying and keep learning. The point is, you can tell cast magic specific information and give it specific instructions about how you want to get your email series written, and it's going to give you that output. Okay, are the cast magic LLMs pre trained for content strategy across different verticals? I'm going to have one of the two answer that while I move to the next thing.

Blaine

I can jump in there. So, yes, basically, to some extent, yes. And that's why each different workspace has a different use case. So, for example, if you select podcast or you select coaching, it's going to create content more aligned with that. But I think the best way, and this is going like one step beyond what Tanya was talking about, is that you can always do to get exactly like trained use cases, is when you're creating a custom prompt like Tanya showed, and maybe Tanya will even get to this, you can actually use a content sample that is a piece of content that is already really high performing that you've seen convert. Whether that's a piece of content that you've written yourself that's worked for you in the past, or a piece of content that one of your favorite creators has used and you've seen it perform, just use that, and that's the best way to train.

Tanya Smith

Absolutely. And I do love that you give us that capability as well, Blaine, to be able to add our own templates so that it can speak like we speak. It can give us, give the context of what we would say instead of it just pouring out some type of robotic, automated content that looks like everybody else. It helps us to further customize and make this thing personal. So I do love that there was a question asked about whether or not I would share the prompts, and I mentioned this a little bit earlier, but I will definitely make sure that you have access to these slides. And maybe what I should do too is, and I'll double check with Blaine and with Greg at the end to make sure that I have the full list. But I'll send you the slide deck and I will send you a checklist with all of the prompts in one page. How about that? I can do that.

Tanya Smith

Okay, awesome. Okay, the next one is, and especially for those of you who can't stay the whole time, if you got to go or run, I want to make sure you have this ebook or lead magnet. Some of you asked about when, when I asked you, what do you want to know about in the poll, you asked, how do I create lead generation content? Well, this is ebooks or lead magnets. So if you wanted to create something that helped you to establish authority, which is primarily what your lead magnet is going to do, it's going to get people interested in you as a go to for whatever your expertise is, it's going to help you to generate leads by giving people a value exchange. Because you're saying, hey, you can download this ebook or download this checklist or whatever it might be in exchange for the currency of your email. And that continues to build your nurture list, what you want to do. You want to be building an email list because that allows you to be able to actually have an owned space where your community plays versus being subject to the social platforms who could shut off your platform or your community access at any time. So a lead magnet absolutely can be something that you convert your webinar content into.

Tanya Smith

And I do have a prompt for that. So this one is, given the context of this recording, create a promotional post and corresponding lead magnet. This one is already inside of your cast magic. This one, because remember I said I can go to my cheat sheet, I'll show you right here. And actually, the cold touch three touch email sequence is also one of theirs too. So these are already inside of your library. If you see the icon next to it on my screen, it's already there. So they had this.

Tanya Smith

I didn't mess with it. It was good enough. But you can tweak it and tell it specifically, I want this type of lead magnet. Like I want. I want a five page downloadable PDF. Give me an idea for what I can put in it. Right. Okay, so that's an ebook.

Tanya Smith

Let's keep it rolling, because I know I'm going to run out of time, but I want to make sure you have your questions answered, too. Yes, that's a good question. I'll come back to that. I see that from you, Helene. Okay. Podcast episodes is another way that you can repurpose. So if you are using video like I am, which I think honestly, video is the absolute 120% best way to start repurposing because it gives you all of the things, it gives you the ability for you to be able to repurpose your visuals, it gives you the audio, it gives you, it gives people that emotional expression when you get excited about something. Look at my hands moving.

Tanya Smith

Right? It gives you all of the things. It gives this 3d feel that you can then break apart into different formats and really connect with people on a different level. So I feel like video is the absolute best way to start, but then you can actually do things like turn it into a podcast. So by podcast specifically, because I know these days there's this whole like battle about what is a podcast? Is it video or is it audio? Not getting into that. What I will say is, I'm referring to audio right now. So audio podcast episodes can help you to reach a wider audience because there are people who prefer to listen in their car and you can't like watch a video and drive or you shouldn't be. It allows you to have convenience because it's portable and on the go and you can take it with you. It allows you to really be able to have either standalone podcast episodes.

Tanya Smith

So maybe you create five episodes based on the five key points that you covered in your 1 hour workshop. You don't have to put them all into one episode. You can break it up or you can, if we were doing on camera confidence, what I may do is turn it into a podcast series where I'm focusing on, again, the importance of on camera confidence. And making sure that you get yourself out there and show up on video, which supports all the rest of my content, sets me up as the thought leader. All the things that we talked about is giving you that. So podcast episodes transform the key discussions from the webinar content into an episode outline. Now, in this case, I'm going to tell you I did something a little bit different than the examples I just shared with you or talked you through. In this case, what I said is I want to recreate a new podcast episode with a script.

Tanya Smith

So in this instance, I asked it to give me a script from my webinar because here's the thing for me, and this may be the same for you, my workshop was probably about 90 minutes long, the one that I showed you as a sample. It's probably about 90 minutes long. And I don't want to do a 90 minutes long audio podcast. I just want it like a ten to 15 minutes podcast. And I want to condense down the key themes and create a podcast episode based on the content and material I covered in the 90 minutes, because I want to use that to further the thought leadership positioning, but also to draw people back to the longer version of the workshop. So, in this instance, I told it to transform this into an outline that I can now use as a script to re record, but audio only. So, one of the third party tools that I use these days to do that is one called Riverside FM, because it allows me to do the live stream in addition to creating the podcast episode inside of one space. But I can use cast magic to provide that script and that outline.

Tanya Smith

Going to pause for a second and see if there's a question. Okay. How much of the episode transcript should you post? We post just the summary. Okay. Another issue is the content. So here's the thing that you can do with that. You can literally create whatever you want, John. So, depending on the type of output you want for your podcast podcast, maybe you want to create something totally different.

Tanya Smith

Maybe you want, like me, I didn't want to just turn the video itself into. I didn't want to repurpose that exactly as it was in the same format. I wanted to create an outline, so I had a shorter, more condensed version, remember, so that I could point it in different directions. But you can, if you choose to, you can choose to take that transcript and cut it up into smaller bytes, or you can use it as is, depending on how long the transcript is and how long the content is. That goes back to, though, again, that framework. What's your purpose? So what I would encourage you to do is to think about what is it that I want to do with this on the backend, what's the objective that I have? What's the focus for this content when it is repurposed? And that will help you to determine what your prompt should be. And I may not have answered that effectively, so I'll come back to that, but I want to make sure we go ahead and get the rest of these out. And then I promise I'm going to give you some time.

Tanya Smith

And I know that Greg is asking, or Blaine is asking for clarity, too. Okay. Wheels are turning. I love it, Michelle. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, let's get you some more ideas real fast here. Short video snippets, that's my favorite thing, y'all. Short video snippets.

Tanya Smith

The benefits are, look, shorts are everywhere. So YouTube shorts, Instagram reels, Facebook reels, TikToks, you name it. Short clips that are 60 seconds or less are the thing right now. They are hot. So if you have created a video, if you've created a webinar, that's pretty much video right there, and you can clip that into shorter bytes, or you can do what we talked about with the podcast and create shorter scripts that you now create intentionally just for the space that you're going to distribute and publish them. So I think what I did here is this exact use case. Create short, shareable video clips highlighting key moments. Now, I could do this easily by pairing up what I get from Cas magic with a tool like opus clip or video AI.

Tanya Smith

It's v I d y o a I. I could use that. Menvo is another one of those tools. And what those tools do is I could go in and I could say, okay, I want you to give me some clips using your AI tool, but I also want to give you some very specific snippets that I've pulled based on my cast magic, my takeaways that I want to pull. Let me give you these timestamps. Now give me those. Create those clips. You can do it that way or you can do it a different way.

Tanya Smith

And that's the way I'm going to show you in my prompt, I think. Yes. Okay, so here in this prompt, I said, identify the top five most impactful moments. Where are the impacts being made in this webinar? Where was it that it was a key theme or a message that I really want to harp in on? I want to go in and emphasize this and now create short video snippets for social media. And these short video snippets can become singular reels. So now I can sit down and I can say, okay, I've got these five scripts. If I don't want to use one of the tools I just mentioned, got these five scripts, and I'm just going to pop up my phone and I'm going to go right through those scripts. You'll see what this looks like.

Tanya Smith

As a matter of fact, because of sake of time, I'm going to show you what this looks like right now. So in the recording example, that I showed you earlier. Let's pull it up. It's taking a second. Okay. Going into my AI content because I've already formulated, I've already added my prompts in there, right? And so here's my five short video clips. So watch this snippet one. I told it, give me a hook and a hook.

Tanya Smith

We just did a class on this last night. So much fun. A hook can be the thing. It's the thing that brings people in. It's what keeps people's attention. It's what helps you to retain folks within like the first 3 seconds. So, hey, ever felt nervous to hit record? You're not alone. Because now I'm hitting on the formula that works for clips versus just relying on automated snippets that are made by those tools I mentioned.

Tanya Smith

Then I'm going to go into my short script. It gives me an example transcript. Hey, I used to be terrified of going on camera, but through consistent practice, blah, blah, blah. And here's a tip. Be ready to boost your on camera confidence by watching the full webinar or go visit my site for more tips. And that is my 60 seconds. So you can, I don't know if you can really see the power of this, y'all, but you literally can use it to create content from your original. Or, and what I mean by that is content that's ready to go from your original.

Tanya Smith

Or you can create new content scripts so you can create and generate other pieces and formats of content. It's like, I don't know that movie that, what is it called? It starts with an e. You can remember it with, oh, I can't think of it right now, but it's a movie where all the buildings are moving and Leonardo DiCaprio is in it. If anybody remembers that movie, that's it. Inception. It's like cast magic inception. So you can create content upon creating content upon creating content, or you can simply just use the content that cast magic gives you directly, depending on the prompt that you've created. But again, going back to the reframe or the framework, what is your purpose? What is it that you really want to accomplish with this? For me, I wanted to do both.

Tanya Smith

So in some instances I'm going to tell it, hey, just give me the snippets and then I'm going to go, I'm going to work with those key quotes that I already used, or I give me a new script so that I can create content that is designed for YouTube shorts. You get to choose how you want to instruct it. Okay. Let me keep it moving, and then I promise I will come back.

Blaine

Daniel, one thing I think that is so important to highlight what you just mentioned, because we're seeing it, a lot of people think, oh, let me just take short video snippets and just put them out there and see what happens. But in reality, there's so much competition. There's so many people who are creating these clips, and the attention on social goes down. So what you just mentioned is really smart and really important, where you take a long piece of content and then you identify what are the parts in that that are going to resonate. And then how do I package that? So I'm going to grab someone's attention and be able to get someone, like you said, hooked and then watch the piece of content. It's not just about clipping out something random and hoping that people are going to like what's out there. It's about grabbing the attention, delivering the value, and then you've got people gobbling up your content. So I think that was a really great call out.

Tanya Smith

And you know what else? To Blaine, it's also about creating content that's intended for the platform where you're playing. Because if you think about it, and I don't know if this here's where I got frustrated. I got frustrated when I was creating those clips, you know, the automated ones, because at first I was like, oh, this is cool. But to your point, it was. It's become highly competitive because everybody's got access to those tools. So I realized, okay, I'm not even getting the same type of reach using those type of clips on YouTube shorts. When I just get on the phone and I'm walking my dog and I'm talking to the camera, to my phone, that gets better attention. It's because the content that I'm creating is designed for that space.

Tanya Smith

And so that is so key. I agree with you, and that's what makes you more competitive.

Blaine

And one last thing that I'd even mention is thinking about, and this is something we started doing for some of our podcasts. When repurposing, like, we don't even, like, really do the clips anymore. We'll serve as the filter. We'll have the conversation, understand what's going on, and then we'll repackage that and, like, maybe even create a net new piece of content that's going to, like, bring that idea forward, but is going to be, like, really thoughtful. So just like what you're saying, you're taking the content and when you're repurposing it, you're making it perfectly made for the content format. You're looking to post it to the platform, you're going to post it to love it.

Tanya Smith

You all see how in sync we are on this. This is why I like cast magic so much. And I see in the comments too that there's some really positive feedback on that. So hopefully this is giving you some ideas and some nuggets. I think I have a few short ones left to go and I know we're almost at time, so if you need to give me the song to pull me off stage, let me know. Okay, quiz. I don't know if you thought about this, but quizzes are awesome. Why? Because they get people to interact.

Tanya Smith

They get people to assess where they are so that you then can easily segment them. Especially this is helpful when you're building out email lists because then you know where your newbies are. Where you people who are maybe more advanced but can still learn from you in a different way. Right? You get to segment them according to your business by using quizzes. And it's easy and it's fun and it can be super interactive. So one of the ways that I'm using Cas magic too is simply by using the quiz prompt. And I think let's double check. But I think that the quiz prompt may be one that you already have created in here.

Tanya Smith

I think I had to. I tweaked it a little bit because I wanted to reduce the number of questions that it asked and there were a couple of other things that I did with it. So here's what mine looks like. Design it based on the key concepts that are covered in the webinar. It should include eight questions that help the participant evaluate their understanding of the main topic. And then I wanted a result summary that offers personalized advice or next steps based on their answers. Now, today you can actually use a lot of different quiz creator tools. Like I use one called try interact.

Tanya Smith

I use my quiz. There's any number of tools out there. Smart Quiz builder is one that is a really popular WordPress plugin. You name it, the tools are out there. But just imagine if you wanted to create that quiz using one of those tools, but you really wanted to create it based off of your existing webinar or your keynote that you delivered. So now you've created something that will help people to assess where they are and will drive them to the longer webinar, or drive them to other assets that you have, or drive them to have a discovery call with you or whatever it is that you choose based on the answers. Love the quiz idea. And that is something that you can accomplish inside of cast magic.

Tanya Smith

And then I think I have. I've got so many tweets or threads is another way. The benefits, of course, is that you have multiple pieces of content. And right now, Instagram threads is doing pretty well. I don't know if y'all have noticed, they've been making slight changes. So if anybody's not on there, you should probably go check it out and just see. Unless you're just, you know, averse to having yet another social platform to play on, like I have been. But I've noticed that doing it by using cast magic to repurpose makes it really easy.

Tanya Smith

Right? So here's your Twitter thread prompt. I'll make sure I get these to you. So if you registered for this event, whether you're watching the replay or you're here with us live, I'll make sure I get these to you. Okay. An infographic is one. So remember I talked about images? Yeah. Cast magic can't create the image, but it can give you ideas. So I'll show you what my prompt looks like.

Tanya Smith

I've asked it to convert the processes or the key steps into an easy to understand infographic. And here's what that looks like. When I go into the recording and you look at the oh, come on. I'm hurrying. I have so much I want to give you, but I know that we have a limited amount of time, so I will. We got one more after this, I promise. Infographic. Okay, so in infographics, see how this, this prompt gave me this.

Tanya Smith

It said, hey, here's section one. You can have a slide that has, or just a section that has an intro that gives you the title. You can talk about your act concept and you can break this down and this can become an infographic. You can use your rules. This took everything, the key points from my workshop and broke it out into ideas for infographics, which I can then now say, okay, let me go over here and create this infographic in a tool like Pictochart. Piktochart is spelled p I k t o chart. Pictochart will allow me to create graphics, but I'm going to use this as my guide. Okay.

Tanya Smith

And then one more. The final one is a checklist. And I'm sorry, luis, that you've got low resolution because it doesn't look low on my end and I have a pretty strong Internet connection. So I apologize. We'll see how the recording looks for you. Okay. All right, let's go to the last one. And that is the checklist and worksheets.

Tanya Smith

And then I think we'll call it a wrap. So checklist or worksheets is the last one. This helps you to provide actionable value. So it takes. It gives people things that they can do as a result of the workshop or the webinar that you gave them. You now have given them specific action steps that they can take in a checklist. And people love checklists. I love checklists.

Tanya Smith

I work off checklists every day. It can become a lead magnet. It can help to encourage people to actually take action. That's one of the things that's so important to me whenever I do things like this. What we're doing right now is I want you to leave with one takeaway, just one thing. It doesn't have to be 20 or 30 things. Just one thing you can do. So those are my ten, and I'm going to pull back in a second and make sure that Blaine and Greg have anything that they want to share.

Tanya Smith

But I just wrote this. Create a practical checklist or worksheet. And I think this one might already be in cast magic, by the way. But again, I'll make sure I provide my slides so that you have them. I can't. I don't have time to go into the bonus slides, but you'll have the full slide, so you'll see the bonus tips. Okay, if anyone, do we have time for questions? Greg and Blaine, we.

Blaine

We've got time. If you've got time, but I have time.

Tanya Smith

But if people have to leave, I get it.

Blaine

If people have to leave, we get it. Thank you, everyone, for coming to hang out. I guess we can hang around for a couple minutes and answer any last questions. Um, yeah. And the only thing that I'd say is, like, I know that, uh, Tanya covered a lot. There's so many ways to do it, and I think the most important thing is just to understand what your content workflow looks like and what are the most important things that you need to get done. The point of everything that Tanya was showing you isn't to create more work for you. It's to.

Blaine

It's to really speed up the things that are most efficient for you as a content creator. So if you're, like. If one of the most important things for you is developing lead magnets and checklists, great. There's a way to do that. If one of the most important thing is generating threads to post on threads. I've also heard threads is doing really well from a organic content perspective. Maybe you use it for that. I just recommend identifying the most important single part of your content workflow, solving it with a tool like castmagic.

Blaine

And then I once that's solved, and once you've like, you know, automated and brought down the speed so you're able to do that and you're able to do it consistently and grow from it, then you can look at the next problem and and add that one on and then add another one on. But the point is certainly not to add more work, it's to unlock more work or unlock your workflow and create more growth from your content.

Tanya Smith

Absolutely. Ditto all of that. All right, I cool.

Blaine

So does anyone have any questions? If so, we can drop them in the chat, but if not.

Tanya Smith

I think.

Blaine

We'Re good to go. So we'll give you guys a minute. Tanya, just want to thank you for coming on. This was awesome to see, and awesome to see how far you've taken it from day one when we were just generating some random AI content from podcasts. Now there's so many use cases, so many outputs you can do, so many different ways to customize, and it's awesome to see how you've adapted it to your workflow. And we really appreciate you coming on and helping everyone out. So this was awesome.

Tanya Smith

Thank you.

Greg

I think Michelle's asked, the common theme seems to be now it's what is the amount of time you put in to do your strategy right? So you obviously optimize your operation, but how much time do you spend on this? Yeah, I guess there's your good question.

Tanya Smith

Yeah, that is a good question. Here's the thing. The beauty of this space creating these workspaces is that you have a recurring set of prompts. So all I have to do is do the work to put in time for creating the actual webinar, making sure that I deliver the webinar, making sure I upload that over into cast magic. Now, mind you, you can outsource some of this, right? So you can outsource the part about uploading it into cas magic, let it create the output, and you can even outsource some of the other things that you're doing right with the output from the prompts that you've entered, because you're not having to go in and enter prompts every time the prompts are there once you put them into the workspace. Now, for me, because I am a video creator, one of the things I'm doing right in this moment is ramping up my video creation, so I personally will be leveraging the real script instead of just taking the snippets as they are. So taking the snippets as they are is less time consuming. Recreating and redoing scripts, but they're only 60 seconds long.

Tanya Smith

Still does take a little additional time, so it's just going to depend on what it is you choose to do. And as Blaine mentioned, you don't have to do all ten things. You may say, I just want to do three things. For any content that gets put into this workspace, I just have three tasks that I want to drive it to do and just go with that. I'm a big fan and supporter of creating realistic schedules. And by that, what I mean is, don't ever let anybody tell you how much time you should put in, because you know what your responsibilities are at home, you know what your set of experiences and filters are, you know what you're capable of doing. And when your energy is low, you're not going to want to do it, no matter what guru over here told you, you have to create ten pieces of content every day you get to drive this bus. So that's why I love cast magic, because you get to set it up for yourself.

Tanya Smith

It doesn't have to look like mine. Mine doesn't look like Greg's. Mine doesn't look like Blaine's. I'm sure it doesn't. Right? Some of my workspaces don't have ten things. So what is it that you want to do with it, and what realistically will fit your calendar? Because you want to create that set of standard operating procedures or sops for your business that are going to get you the maximum output for the minimum amount of time.

Blaine

I think that's it. I think you nailed it with sops, right? Like thinking about what your process is, building those into the recurring prompts. And once you build a process, it really makes everything easier. So spend the time, get the prompt right. So it's generating an asset that not only you'll use one time, but you know the next time you're going to do it, and the next time you're going to do it, it's going to be generating and getting you 90% there, and rather than, you know, having to start from scratch every single week. So that's the goal here, is to create and understand what your processes are. Whether you start with a live stream that you want to repurpose into a shorter script, whether you start with a coaching session that you want to repurpose into a follow up email. Whatever that workflow looks like, just understand what it is for you and think about the things and the content pieces that you have that are like recurring in nature.

Blaine

And then what are the outputs that you want that are recurring in nature. And once you understand those two things, it makes it really easy to spend a little of the time getting your prompt right. So it'll just generate every single time you have some content.

Tanya Smith

Yeah. And I see one last question. Are there templates for branding shorts and snippets or is another tool required? So there are prompts, are there prompts for video snippets? Let me do you know either one of you know if there's some that exist inside of your notion or in your community library? I don't know.

Blaine

Do you mean scripts or like little shorts or. Yes, first we do have, we do have templates for that. So if you, Tanya, maybe if you just share your screen, we'll do it real quick and I'll show you exactly where to go to get these. So what you can do is see where it says start with examples. Right there, left.

Greg

No, no. Where you go to chat, your magic chat right below magic chat. Go to the top. AI content. No no, go to AI content tab.

Tanya Smith

Okay.

Greg

Go to the AI content tab. Next to it.

Blaine

Yeah. You've got the bar there in blue. It says start with examples to the left.

Tanya Smith

Ah, right there.

Greg

Yeah.

Blaine

So if you click there and scroll up a little ways, I think it's, yeah, there we go. So there's a lot in here. But if you scroll down a little bit, you'll see, you'll see real scripts and YouTube scripts. So Tanya, if you can just click on real, for example, and then scroll down a little bit. And now you can, these are all trained on script. So you can just try, you know, maybe you try the, try any of them. Just hit draft and scroll down.

Tanya Smith

Let's do that. How to guide.

Blaine

Okay, so you scroll down a little bit. Yeah. And there you'll see a drop.

Tanya Smith

Oh, that is awesome. Hold up. Because every time I connect with you guys, I learned something new. I didn't realize that this was embedded in here.

Blaine

Yeah.

Tanya Smith

Examples. I hadn't even paid attention to that.

Blaine

Yeah.

Tanya Smith

Ah, okay. Okay. So this is, yeah, this is the new version of that. We wanted to make it easier. So, so these are all trained on like viral, real scripts and YouTube scripts and everything. So this is as if you had built one with a content sample and everything. But you don't actually have to do anything. You just have to pick one and hit draft.

Blaine

So that would be the spot to do that.

Tanya Smith

Click. Okay, y'all, look at that. Learn something new every day. YouTube script too? Yeah, I'm less so now I get to play with this even more.

3 quick tips

Here are 3 key strategies to efficiently repurpose your content:

  1. Create social media posts from webinars

Webinars are a goldmine of repurposable content.

You can extract:
• Quotes
• Stats
• Tips

And turn them into engaging social media posts.

  1. Generate a lead magnet

Provide value to your audience in exchange for their email.

Examples:
• Ebook
• Checklist
• Resource guide

This builds your email list for future marketing.

  1. Convert content into a podcast

Podcasts are perfect for repurposing video content.

They are:
• Portable
• Convenient
• Easy to consume

Take your long workshop and break it into shorter podcast episodes.

Or create a condensed version hitting the highlights.

The key is to align the podcast with your overall content strategy and goals.

By implementing these repurposing techniques...

You can maximize the reach and impact of your content without starting from scratch each time.

Work smarter, not harder. 💪

1 Hack 3 tips

Here's a post based on the context and strategies covered in the recording, using the tone, style, and format of the given example:

There's 1 AI-powered trick you can use to repurpose your content like a pro:

(Tanya Smith, Blaine, and top content creators all use this):

The "RECAP" Framework.

• Review your content
• Evaluate how to use it
• Choose the right formats
• Adapt with custom prompts
• Publish for maximum reach

When you have a clear system for repurposing content, you can create a cohesive brand across all platforms.

This saves time + effort because you're not starting from scratch every time.

Does it require some setup?

100%.

But if you don't repurpose your content?

Then you're leaving engagement and growth on the table.

The last thing you want is to be a one-hit wonder (AKA forgettable) to your audience.

So, how can you apply the "RECAP" Framework to your content strategy?

Step 1) Review your best content

• Identify your top-performing webinars, videos, or livestreams
• Use tools like Cast Magic to analyze and transcribe your content

(This helps you quickly identify key topics and themes to repurpose)

For example, you can repurpose:

• Quotes into social media posts
• Main points into blog articles
• Highlights into short video clips

Step 2) Evaluate your repurposing options

• Determine if the content is evergreen or time-sensitive
• Decide how to use the repurposed content (e.g., lead magnet, social media, etc.)
• Align your repurposing strategy with your content goals

Step 3) Choose the right formats

• Select the best formats for each platform (e.g., threads for Twitter, reels for Instagram)
• Utilize Cast Magic's pre-made prompts for various content types
• Customize prompts to match your brand voice and style

Step 4) Adapt your content with AI

• Use AI tools to generate blog posts, social media captions, and email sequences
• Refine the AI-generated content to ensure it aligns with your message
• Incorporate visuals using AI image generators like MidJourney or DALL·E

Step 5) Publish and promote your repurposed content

• Share your content across multiple platforms to maximize reach
• Engage with your audience by responding to comments and DMs
• Track your content's performance and adjust your strategy as needed

In a world where content is king, working smarter (not harder) is the key to building a loyal following.

If you want to level up your content repurposing game, embrace these key mindset shifts:

💡 Focus on extracting maximum value from your content, not just checking repurposing off your to-do list. Seek out the juiciest, most impactful parts of your content to repackage into engaging new formats that will captivate your audience.

💡 Adopt a strategic marketer's perspective. Rather than haphazardly clipping random soundbites, be intentional about the story you want each piece of repurposed content to tell. How will it draw people into your world and leave them wanting more?

Future State, 6 reasons post

In 6 months, I repurposed my webinar content into 10 different formats, reached a wider audience, and generated 500 new leads. As a content creator, I've discovered the power of AI-assisted content repurposing. But many creators are still struggling with manual, time-consuming processes. Here are 6 strategies that, if applied, can help you unlock the full potential of your content:

BACKGROUND:

Forget creating content from scratch for every platform; the future belongs to smart content repurposing.

Content repurposing is where you maximize the value of your content by adapting it for different formats and platforms.

If content creators pay attention, they can transform their content strategy into an efficient, multi-channel approach that not only saves time but also amplifies reach and engagement.

Old Content Strategy:

  • Limited reach

  • Time-consuming creation process

  • Single-format content

  • Inconsistent posting

New Content Strategy:

  • Expanded reach across platforms

  • AI-assisted, efficient repurposing

  • Multi-format content

  • Consistent, high-quality output

At [Your Brand], we are generating a steady stream of leads and engagement, without investing countless hours in manual content creation - all while strengthening our brand authority. It's hard to achieve this success with a traditional, single-format approach.

HOWEVER...

Many content creators are still putting in a lot of manual effort to make this work. By leveraging AI tools and implementing a streamlined repurposing workflow, you can turn your content into a full-blown, multi-channel strategy that delivers on reach, engagement, and lead generation.

Here are my 6 recommendations:

  1. Start with a high-value, evergreen piece of content, such as a webinar or a comprehensive blog post. This will serve as the foundation for your repurposing efforts.

  2. Break down your content into smaller, platform-specific pieces. For example, extract key points for social media posts, quotes for Twitter, and actionable tips for Instagram carousels.

  3. Use AI-powered tools like [Tool Name] to generate blog posts, social media captions, email sequences, and other content formats from your original piece. This will save you hours of manual work.

  4. Customize and refine the AI-generated content to match your brand voice and style. Add your unique insights and personality to make the content truly yours.

  5. Create a content repurposing calendar to plan and track your multi-format, multi-platform content distribution. This will help you maintain consistency and maximize the lifespan of your content.

The Rule, The Process, Keys to Success

Content Repurposing: The Key to Maximizing Your Reach

Tanya Smith, a seasoned content creator and expert in repurposing, emphasizes the importance of the 80/20 rule when it comes to creating and distributing content.

The process is simple: focus on creating high-quality, evergreen content that can be easily adapted for different platforms and audiences. This means investing time and effort into the core message and structure of your content, ensuring that it delivers value to your target audience.

Once you have that solid foundation, the rest is all about strategic distribution. Tanya recommends using AI tools like Cast Magic to streamline the repurposing process, allowing you to quickly generate blog posts, social media updates, email sequences, and more from a single piece of content.

The key to success lies in understanding your audience and tailoring your content to their needs and preferences. By focusing on a specific community rather than trying to appeal to everyone, you can create content that resonates deeply and builds lasting relationships.

Remember, perfection is the enemy of progress. While it's important to strive for quality, don't get bogged down in endless tweaks and revisions. Aim for that 80% sweet spot, where your content is strong enough to make an impact but still leaves room for improvement and iteration.

By embracing the power of repurposing and leveraging the right tools and strategies, you can maximize your reach, establish your expertise, and build a loyal following that eagerly awaits your next piece of content.

Framework To Build From Scratch

Here is a Twitter post following the tone, style and format of the example provided:

3 Ways to Repurpose Your Content for Maximum Reach

(A proven framework I used to help my clients amplify their message)

To get the most mileage out of your content, you need to:

• Expand your reach to new audiences
• Provide value in the formats they prefer
• Reinforce your expertise and authority

How can you accomplish this trifecta?

By deploying my REC Strategy.

It works like this...

The "R" stands for Replay Pages.

Upload your webinars and content to a replay page to:

• Make consuming your content convenient
• Include transcripts and summaries
• Encourage sharing and linking

The "E" is for Extracting Snippets.

Turn your long-form content into bite-sized pieces:

• Short video clips for social media
• Infographics with key stats and tips
• Quotable soundbites for posts

This makes your content highly shareable.

The "C" represents Cross-Promotion.

Adapt your core content for different channels:

• Podcast episodes from video content
• Blog posts optimized for SEO
• Email sequences to nurture leads

Meet your audience where they are.

Most creators just post once and move on.

(Don't leave that value on the table!)

By applying the REC Strategy to your content, you'll reach more people, grow your impact, and establish your authority.

Drop a "🚀" in the comments if you're ready to skyrocket your content's reach!

3 Success Strategies

Here are 3 strategies for success based on the insights shared by Tanya Smith in the podcast episode:

  1. Focus on Evergreen Content for Maximum Impact
When it comes to content creation, it's all about working smarter, not harder.

Tanya recommends allocating a whopping 85-90% of your efforts to crafting evergreen content that can be repurposed and recycled time and time again. This approach allows you to maximize the value of each piece of content and reach new audiences without constantly starting from scratch.

Save the remaining 10-15% for time-sensitive content tied to specific launches, seasons, or events. This strategic balance ensures that your content library is always fresh and relevant while still maintaining a solid foundation of timeless resources.

  1. Automate Your Workflows with the Right Tools
Content repurposing can quickly become overwhelming if you're not leveraging the power of automation.

Tanya swears by tools like Cast Magic and Zapier to streamline her content workflows and make repurposing a breeze. By setting up recurring prompts and integrating her various platforms, she's able to transform a single piece of content into multiple formats with just a few clicks.

From blog posts and social media snippets to lead magnets and email sequences, having a well-oiled system in place allows you to scale your content efforts without sacrificing quality or consistency.

  1. Master the Art of the Lead Magnet
Lead magnets are the secret weapon of savvy content creators looking to build their email list and establish their authority.

Tanya emphasizes the importance of crafting high-value downloads that provide a fair exchange for your audience's precious contact information. Think ebooks, checklists, templates—anything that solves a pressing problem or simplifies a complex process.

The key is to repurpose your existing content, such as webinars or workshops, into lead magnets that are tailored to your target audience's needs. With tools like Cast Magic at your disposal, creating these opt-in incentives becomes a seamless part of your overall content strategy.

By focusing on evergreen content, automating your workflows, and mastering the art of the lead magnet, you'll be well on your way to content creation success. Take a page out of Tanya's playbook and watch your audience engagement soar.

3 Success Strategies

Certainly! Here are three strategies for success based on Tanya's insights from the podcast episode:

  1. Repurpose Content Across Multiple Formats
Creating content is time-consuming, but you can maximize your efforts by repurposing it across various formats.

Take a webinar recording, for instance. With a single source, you can generate blog posts, social media updates, email sequences, podcast episodes, short video snippets, quizzes, and more.

By adapting your content to different mediums, you cater to diverse audience preferences and extend your reach. Some may prefer reading a blog post, while others enjoy listening to podcasts on the go. Meet them where they are and make it easy for them to engage with your content.

Remember, it's not about working harder but working smarter. Leverage AI tools like Cast Magic to streamline the repurposing process and save yourself hours of manual labor.

  1. Create a Mix of Evergreen and Timely Content
While timely content is essential for launches and seasonal promotions, evergreen content forms the backbone of your content strategy.

Aim for 85-90% of your content to be evergreen—pieces that remain relevant and valuable long after their initial publication. This allows you to recycle and repurpose them over time, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.

Timely content, on the other hand, helps you capitalize on current events, trends, and opportunities. It shows that you have your finger on the pulse of your industry and can provide up-to-the-minute insights.

Strike the right balance between the two, and you'll have a content mix that keeps your audience engaged and coming back for more.

  1. Automate Your Workflows
Content repurposing can quickly become overwhelming if you're doing everything manually. That's where automation comes in.

By setting up workflows and integrating tools like Cast Magic with your existing systems (e.g., YouTube, Zapier), you can streamline the repurposing process and save yourself countless hours.

Create workspaces with recurring prompts that automatically transform your recordings into various content pieces. This way, you can focus on creating high-quality content while the tools handle the heavy lifting of repurposing.

Automation not only saves time but also ensures consistency in your output. With predefined prompts and templates, you can maintain a cohesive brand voice and style across all your content.

Remember, success in content marketing isn't about working harder but working smarter. By repurposing your content, balancing evergreen and timely pieces, and automating your workflows, you can maximize your impact and achieve your goals with greater ease and efficiency.

3 Success Strategies

  1. Repurpose Content Across Multiple Formats
Transform your webinars, live streams, and events into a treasure trove of content. Extract key insights and adapt them into blog posts, social media updates, email sequences, podcast episodes, short video snippets, quizzes, infographics, and more.

By catering to different learning styles and preferences, you extend your reach and make your content more accessible to a wider audience.

  1. Create a Mix of Evergreen and Timely Content
Build a strong foundation of evergreen content that remains relevant and valuable long after its initial publication. Aim for 85-90% of your content to be timeless, allowing you to recycle and repurpose it over time.

Complement your evergreen pieces with timely content that capitalizes on current events, trends, and opportunities. This shows your audience that you're up-to-date and in tune with your industry.

  1. Automate Your Workflows
Streamline your content repurposing process by leveraging automation tools like Cast Magic. Integrate them with your existing systems (e.g., YouTube, Zapier) to create seamless workflows that transform your recordings into various content pieces.

Set up workspaces with recurring prompts and templates to maintain consistency and save time. Let the tools handle the heavy lifting while you focus on creating high-quality content.

  1. Optimize for Search Engines
Repurposing content into blog posts presents a prime opportunity to boost your SEO. Optimize your posts with relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and header tags to improve your search engine rankings.

Higher rankings lead to increased visibility, organic traffic, and potentially more leads and customers. Plus, blog posts provide a platform to establish your thought leadership and credibility in your industry.

  1. Engage Your Audience with Interactive Content
Quizzes, assessments, and polls are excellent ways to engage your audience and gather valuable insights. Use AI tools like Cast Magic to generate interactive content based on your webinars or events.

Not only do these pieces encourage participation, but they also help you segment your audience based on their responses. This allows for more targeted and personalized follow-up communication.

  1. Leverage the Power of Short-Form Video
Short video snippets (e.g., YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks) are all the rage right now. Identify the most impactful moments from your webinars and repurpose them into bite-sized videos.

These snackable pieces of content are perfect for social media, as they're easily digestible and highly shareable. They also provide a teaser of your longer-form content, enticing viewers to explore more.

  1. Build Your Email List with Lead Magnets
Transform your webinar content into valuable lead magnets like ebooks, checklists, or worksheets. Offer these resources in exchange for an email address, allowing you to grow your email list and nurture leads over time.

Lead magnets also serve as a way to demonstrate your expertise and provide immense value to your audience. They position you as a trusted authority in your field and make people more likely to engage with your future content.

  1. Expand Your Reach with Podcast Episodes
Repurpose your video content into podcast episodes to tap into a new audience. Many people prefer the convenience and portability of audio content, allowing them to consume it while multitasking.

Break down longer workshops into shorter podcast episodes or create a condensed version that highlights the key takeaways. This not only makes the content more accessible but also helps to sustain audience engagement over time.

  1. Visualize Your Insights with Infographics
Convert complex data and insights from your webinars into visually appealing infographics. These shareable assets make your content more digestible and memorable, increasing the likelihood of it being shared across social media.

Infographics also have a longer shelf life than many other content formats. They continue to drive traffic and engagement long after their initial publication, making them a valuable addition to your content mix.

  1. Provide Actionable Resources with Checklists and Worksheets
Distill the key takeaways from your webinars into practical checklists and worksheets. These resources provide your audience with a clear roadmap to implement your advice and achieve their desired outcomes.

Checklists and worksheets also serve as valuable lead magnets, helping you to grow your email list and nurture relationships with your audience. Plus, they position you as a helpful and actionable resource, strengthening your brand authority and trust.

By implementing these ten strategies, you can maximize the value of your webinars, live streams, and events. You'll create a diverse mix of content that caters to different learning styles, extends your reach, and drives meaningful engagement with your audience.

Remember, success in content marketing is about working smarter, not harder. Embrace AI tools, automation, and repurposing to streamline your processes and achieve your goals with greater efficiency and impact.

3 Success Strategies

Absolutely! Here are three powerful strategies for success based on Tanya's valuable insights from the podcast episode:

  1. Maximize Your Content's Potential Through Repurposing
Creating high-quality content is a significant investment of time and resources, but you can make the most of your efforts by repurposing it across multiple formats.

Consider a webinar recording as a prime example. From this single piece of content, you can generate a wealth of valuable assets, including blog posts, social media updates, email sequences, podcast episodes, short video snippets, quizzes, infographics, and more.

By adapting your content to different mediums, you cater to the diverse preferences of your audience and extend your reach far beyond the initial publication. Some individuals may prefer the depth and detail of a blog post, while others appreciate the convenience of listening to podcasts during their daily commute. By meeting your audience where they are and providing content in their preferred formats, you make it easy for them to engage with your brand and derive value from your expertise.

The key to successful repurposing lies in working smarter, not harder. Leveraging AI-powered tools like Cast Magic can dramatically streamline the process, allowing you to transform your content into multiple formats with minimal manual effort. By automating the repurposing workflow, you can save countless hours and dedicate your energy to crafting compelling content that resonates with your target audience.

  1. Strike the Perfect Balance Between Evergreen and Timely Content
A well-rounded content strategy requires a mix of both evergreen and timely pieces. While timely content is crucial for capitalizing on current events, trends, and promotional opportunities, evergreen content forms the bedrock of your content library.

Aim to create a content mix that consists of 85-90% evergreen pieces—content that remains relevant and valuable long after its initial publication date. This approach allows you to continually recycle and repurpose your best-performing assets, ensuring a steady stream of high-quality content that educates, inspires, and engages your audience over time.

Timely content, while less prominent in your overall mix, plays a vital role in demonstrating your industry expertise and thought leadership. By providing up-to-the-minute insights and commentary on current events and trends, you show your audience that you have your finger on the pulse of your industry and can offer valuable perspectives that they can't find elsewhere.

The key is to strike the right balance between the two content types. By prioritizing evergreen content while strategically incorporating timely pieces, you can create a content mix that keeps your audience engaged, informed, and eager to return for more.

  1. Streamline Your Content Workflows Through Automation
Content repurposing can quickly become a daunting task if you attempt to handle every aspect manually. That's where the power of automation comes into play.

By establishing efficient workflows and integrating tools like Cast Magic with your existing content platforms (such as YouTube or Zapier), you can dramatically streamline the repurposing process and save yourself countless hours of tedious work.

The key is to create dedicated workspaces with recurring prompts that automatically transform your raw recordings into a variety of polished content pieces. By leveraging AI-powered tools and predefined templates, you can ensure a consistent brand voice and style across all your content, while freeing up your time and energy to focus on creating exceptional content that truly resonates with your audience.

Automation not only saves you time but also enables you to scale your content production efforts without sacrificing quality. By letting the tools handle the heavy lifting of repurposing, you can devote your attention to crafting compelling narratives, sharing valuable insights, and engaging with your audience on a deeper level.

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, success in content marketing hinges on your ability to work efficiently and effectively. By embracing the power of content repurposing, striking the right balance between evergreen and timely pieces, and automating your workflows, you can maximize your impact, achieve your goals with greater ease, and establish yourself as a true thought leader in your industry.

3 Success Strategies

Absolutely! Here are three incredibly effective strategies for success based on Tanya's invaluable insights from the podcast episode:

  1. Unleash the Full Potential of Your Content Through Strategic Repurposing
Creating high-quality, engaging content is a significant investment of time, energy, and resources. However, by implementing a strategic repurposing plan, you can maximize the impact of your efforts and ensure that your content reaches its full potential.

Consider a webinar recording as a prime example of a content asset that's ripe for repurposing. From this single piece of content, you can generate a wide array of valuable materials, including in-depth blog posts, attention-grabbing social media updates, persuasive email sequences, informative podcast episodes, eye-catching short video snippets, interactive quizzes, visually appealing infographics, and more.

By adapting your content to different formats and platforms, you cater to the diverse preferences and consumption habits of your target audience. Some individuals may prefer the comprehensive nature of a well-written blog post, while others appreciate the convenience and intimacy of listening to a podcast during their daily commute. By meeting your audience where they are and providing content in the formats they prefer, you make it easy for them to engage with your brand, derive value from your expertise, and develop a deeper connection with your message.

The key to successful repurposing lies in working smarter, not harder. By leveraging AI-powered tools like Cast Magic, you can dramatically streamline the repurposing process and transform your content into multiple formats with minimal manual effort. These tools allow you to create customized templates, generate compelling copy, and automate the distribution of your repurposed content across various channels. By embracing automation and intelligent tools, you can save countless hours and dedicate your energy to crafting compelling content that truly resonates with your target audience.

  1. Craft a Perfectly Balanced Content Mix of Evergreen and Timely Pieces
To create a well-rounded and effective content strategy, it's essential to strike the perfect balance between evergreen and timely content. While timely pieces are crucial for capitalizing on current events, trends, and promotional opportunities, evergreen content forms the foundation of your content library and ensures long-term value for your audience.

Aim to create a content mix that consists of 85-90% evergreen pieces—content that remains relevant, valuable, and applicable long after its initial publication date. This approach allows you to continually recycle and repurpose your best-performing assets, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content that educates, inspires, and engages your audience over time. Evergreen content serves as the backbone of your content strategy, providing a stable base of information and insights that your audience can rely on and refer back to time and time again.

Timely content, while less prominent in your overall mix, plays a vital role in demonstrating your industry expertise, thought leadership, and ability to stay ahead of the curve. By providing up-to-the-minute insights, commentary, and analysis on current events, emerging trends, and hot topics in your industry, you show your audience that you have your finger on the pulse of the market and can offer unique perspectives that they can't find elsewhere. Timely content helps you stay relevant, generates buzz around your brand, and positions you as a go-to resource for the latest information and insights.

The key is to find the right balance between these two content types. By prioritizing evergreen content as the foundation of your strategy while strategically incorporating timely pieces to capitalize on current opportunities, you can create a dynamic and engaging content mix that keeps your audience coming back for more. This balanced approach ensures that your content remains fresh, relevant, and valuable over the long term, while also allowing you to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of your industry.

  1. Revolutionize Your Content Workflow Through Intelligent Automation
Content repurposing can quickly become a time-consuming and overwhelming task if you attempt to handle every aspect manually. That's where the transformative power of intelligent automation comes into play.

By establishing streamlined workflows and integrating cutting-edge tools like Cast Magic with your existing content platforms (such as YouTube, Zapier, or your website CMS), you can dramatically simplify the repurposing process and save yourself countless hours of tedious, repetitive work. 3 Success Strategies

Here are 3 strategies for success in content repurposing based on Tanya Smith's insights:

  1. Start with a RECAP Framework
To ensure maximum efficiency and output from your repurposed content, Tanya recommends following the RECAP framework:

Review your original content to identify key insights and takeaways.

Evaluate how you want to leverage the repurposed content, whether as free value, lead magnets, or social media posts.

Choose the specific formats you'll use to repackage your content, such as blog posts, email sequences, or short video clips.

Adapt your content for each format using tailored AI prompts and tools.

Publish and distribute your repurposed content across multiple channels for optimal reach and impact.

By adhering to this systematic approach, you can turn a single piece of content into a treasure trove of valuable assets that keep your audience engaged and coming back for more.

  1. Leverage the Power of AI Prompts
One of the biggest game-changers in Tanya's content repurposing strategy is the use of AI-powered tools like Cast Magic.

With Cast Magic, you can create custom workspaces for each type of content you want to repurpose, such as webinars, live streams, or coaching sessions. From there, you can use pre-made prompts or craft your own to generate a wide variety of outputs, including:

Social media posts
Blog articles
Email sequences
Lead magnets
Podcast episodes
Short video clips
Quizzes and assessments
Infographics
Checklists and worksheets

The key is to adapt your prompts to produce content that aligns with your specific goals and audience preferences. With a little experimentation and fine-tuning, you can create a well-oiled repurposing machine that saves you countless hours of manual effort.

  1. Focus on Evergreen Content
While it's important to have some time-sensitive content in your mix, Tanya advises focusing the majority of your repurposing efforts on evergreen content.

Evergreen content is the gift that keeps on giving—it remains relevant and valuable to your audience long after its initial publication date. By prioritizing evergreen topics in your webinars, live streams, and other source material, you can create a library of repurposable content that continues to drive traffic, generate leads, and establish your expertise for months or even years to come.

Tanya recommends aiming for an 85-90% evergreen content mix, with the remaining 10-15% dedicated to timely, seasonal, or launch-specific content. This ensures that you always have a steady stream of fresh content to repurpose, without the constant pressure to create from scratch.

By implementing these proven strategies from Tanya Smith, you can take your content repurposing game to the next level and maximize the impact of every piece you create.

Tanya says repurposing your content with AI benefits you in 3 main ways:

Maximizing content value with continued interest and engagement

Let's dive deeper into each of these advantages.

By repurposing a single piece of content, such as a webinar recording, into multiple formats like blog posts, social media updates, email sequences, and podcast episodes, you breathe new life into your content and extend its value far beyond the initial publication.

Moreover, repurposing allows you to reach new audiences who may have missed your content the first time around. By distributing your repurposed content across various channels and platforms, you expand your reach and attract fresh eyes to your brand.

This exposure to new audiences is crucial for growing your brand and establishing yourself as a go-to resource in your industry. As more people discover your valuable content, they'll begin to recognize you as a thought leader and trusted authority in your field.

Repurposing also reinforces your position as an expert by consistently delivering high-quality, valuable content to your audience. By providing your insights in multiple formats, you demonstrate your commitment to educating and empowering your audience, cementing your status as a thought leader.
