Speaker A 00:00:00 - 00:00:18
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for being here today. This is our 2nd interview of the day. I'm very excited. We have Rose from Abundance Bureau here, and you heard her beautiful intro played beforehand. Rose, thank you so much for being here. If you could give us just a quick 30 seconds Yes. Introduction about who you are and what you do.
Rose Napoléon 00:00:18 - 00:00:34
Of course. My name is Rose Napoleon. I'm from Montreal. I am a branding photographer and a digital marketer, and I help solopreneurs and side hustlers build their brand. So I build the foundations with them and I create the content with them 1 on 1.
Speaker A 00:00:34 - 00:00:53
Oh, I love that. I need more of you. Is there more of you or is there only one of you? And I wanna know, because you have such a unique vision and you're helping people in the branding world, what inspired you to start your brand and what was your initial vision versus where it is today?
Rose Napoléon 00:00:53 - 00:01:58
Right. So initially, I made an observation which was based on 2 simple things. First things, most of their entrepreneurs when they start their businesses, they don't have the right foundations because they don't know about marketing and communications. And the other issue was that they have technical, difficulties managing the all the platforms, all the social media, even to create content by themselves. They don't know how to do it. And therefore the result is that many entrepreneur will be abandoning their ventures literally. So to avoid that and to create, you know, abundance in their business, I created this, you know, 1 on 1, I don't like to say coaching sessions but 1 on 1, you know, support so they can, I can teach them the basics and show them how to do it before, they go to see an agency for instance? Because when you start, you don't have the funds to hire full on team and also you don't really know your full self, right? You need to bounce ideas with someone, make sure you have the right, content that it makes sense. Test some things as well.
Rose Napoléon 00:01:58 - 00:02:02
So I thought this could be a good idea to help entrepreneurs this way.
Speaker A 00:02:02 - 00:02:06
I love that. The the the the step between the agency.
Rose Napoléon 00:02:06 - 00:02:06
Exactly.
Speaker A 00:02:06 - 00:02:42
Because an agents I I love that. You you're the step between the agency. You're the middle man or the middle woman, sorry, between that. Because when we're, as a solopreneur, I know how difficult it is to get connected with, branding specialists who aren't in the agency space because, like, as a branding specialist, you could jump straight to agencies so quickly because you can get so many clients, like, at a when you do branding so well. And having someone in that in between to help you get to the point where you start earning that income, where it's able to afford those agency prices because they're expensive.
Rose Napoléon 00:02:42 - 00:02:55
Yeah. Because they have overhead and, you know, they're very good as well. But, it's it's not realistic for someone who's starting because they will change their mind when they start as well. And you have to give them space to do that as well. But, you know
Speaker A 00:02:55 - 00:03:16
And we and there's not that one on one, friendship that is created when you're working with a fellow solopreneur, if you will, or a non agency owner. But I'm interested. In your journey so far, was there a turning point or a specific milestone that helped you solidify your identity as a brand?
Rose Napoléon 00:03:16 - 00:04:30
I love that, that question and I am a very transparent person. So for the audience that will listen to that, maybe you can take some notes. I had to rebrand actually because that's a I had a positioning issue, you know? Even me, the strategist in me had a positioning issue. I was not attracting the right clients and that's a very big issue. And, you know, I realized that, I am more of a I'm a more of a doer and what I wanted to offer is that I wanna give a strategic point of view and do. What happened is that I was attracting people who thought I would execute everything that they taught and that was the main issue, you know? And the other thing of why I I rebranded into Abundance Bureau, the name of abandon of of abundance is related to the business world. Business is not only, marketing and communications, it's a full on journey. You have finance, you have, operations for instance and to make a long story short within Abundance Bureau, I also have a program where I have partnerships with other professionals.
Rose Napoléon 00:04:31 - 00:04:46
And for instance, I have accountants where I'm gonna have, like a shared offer to help sort of preneurs. So this whole idea of rebranding was behind the abundance for entrepreneurs full on. So that's the the little story behind it.
