All right, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to go ahead and get started. I'm going to play a quick little intro video for you. It's my intro video that I show at schools and organizations that I speak at just so you can get an idea of who I am and what I do. And then we'll get started.

Welcome to the Culture Shift Tour.
Video 00:00:26 - 00:00:36
It begins with a keynote, engaging students and identifying those ready to create real, lasting change. With those students coming forward afterward willing.

To dive deep, it's time to get to work.
Video 00:00:38 - 00:00:41
In intimate breakout sessions, we navigate through.

Multiple exercises and activities designed to detach.
Video 00:00:45 - 00:01:03
The negative emotions from past traumas that have been clouding our vision. Then, with newfound clarity, steps students collaborate, crafting solutions for their peers to rally behind, paving the way for a shift in school culture. The synergy continues at the staff workshop as we breathe life into these solutions.

After all, a student made solution put into action starts a movement.

We then open the gates to the broader community, sharing our visions and garnering invaluable support, setting the stage for an all inclusive culture shift.

And finally, it's time to launch the movement.

Thank you. Thank you. So I have been speaking in schools for about 15 years, organizations and companies as well, but mainly education. That's where I started.. I was 15 years old when I started, so I'm about to be 30 now. So I tell people I have been doing this literally half of my life. I have never had another job. And it's all I really know. Here's the thing, when you start really young like I did, you have this belief that no one really cares, Right? Remember when you were a kid and you wanted people to see you as an adult, but they just never did. You had ideas, you wanted to do big things, and people would say, good job, you know, pat you on the back when you really, you needed some Help, right? You wanted their help, you wanted their direction. But it seemed like nobody cared. So I was 15 years old, and a speaker came to my school.
Jared Scott 00:03:14 - 00:03:36
His name was JC Poll. He worked for this organization called Teen Truth. They'd been in over 7,000 different schools. He was up on stage and he was talking about the pressures of magazines. When I was a kid, I never even owned a magazine. I came from a generation where we already had cell phones and social media at a really young age. 12, 13 years old. We already had Instagram and Facebook.
Jared Scott 00:03:36 - 00:04:15
So everybody in my class and my grade was just checked out. Nobody was listening to this guy. And so about halfway through the program, he stops, he goes, all right, that's it. He said, if this is boring, if it's unrelatable, if it's something you've seen before, then I want you to come up to me afterwards and tell me how to fix it. So I did. I was a shy kid, but I waited till everybody else left the room and I went up and I told him the truth. I said it was boring, it wasn't relatable. And he said, well, how do we fix it? He said, well, what if you gave students an opportunity to talk about their own pressures? We have cell phones, social media.
Jared Scott 00:04:15 - 00:04:40
We have different pressures. We feel disconnected. What if you gave us an opportunity to tell our own story? And so, to my surprise, like most adults, usually they were just like, you know what? You know, good idea, you know, great job. He asked, what's your story? He gave me an opportunity. At the time, I was dealing with a lot. I came from a split parent home. My parents were 15, 16 years old when they had me. They were just kids trying to raise a kid.
Jared Scott 00:04:40 - 00:04:51
It didn't work. They split. They went their separate ways. It put me in the middle of their emotions. They were fighting all the time. But I came to school with a smile on my face. 15 years old. I was depressed, but nobody knew it.
