Oh, best intro I've heard in years. Thank you, Phil. I I'm excited to be here and you just turned that up to 11 for me. So thank you.

It's my goal. I always like to notch it up. I always believe in being 11 all the time, so I have to bring the energy to make sure my guest brings that energy. And before we even jumped on the episode so the people listening, I already knew you had l, 11 level energy. And I I I I was feeling how you were, like, just bringing it alone down just in case. So I'm like, no. We're gonna pump it up to 11 because this is gonna be a great time, Lisa. So without further ado, Lisa, I wanna know, what made you decide to become an entrepreneur and join the crazy world of entrepreneurship?

So I came into entrepreneurship, I think, like a lot of people do, by accident. Right? So I was 19, and I had fallen in with a guy who was kinda getting his hands dirty in this Internet world. Now this was thirty years ago, so let's let's be clear. This was a while ago. And I was really excited about the possibilities of it. And I've been, you know, working in retail and working in a hardware store and doing all kinds of manual labor stuff. And I was just like, you know, this isn't getting it for me. And when I saw what we could do with a computer, I was just like, oh my god.

This is it. Like, this is this is the future. And we built one of the first ever ecommerce websites back in the day when an animated GIF took fifteen minutes to load. And you were excited about that. Like, you would wait. You would just like, I can't wait to see what this is gonna be. And, you know, we were taking we were taking PayPal payments in the very early days of PayPal, and we were still getting people sending us, you know, money orders from Sweden and and and all of that stuff. So that was me dipping my toe into entrepreneurship very early on.
