You you think I'd learn after, you know, 500 episodes, but apparently not. Liz,

thank you so much. At ease with tripping over words because, another diagnosis is is dyslexia and sometimes I do that. So it all it all works.

There we go. So, I I put you at ease showing that I'm a simple person without any amazingness, and you are just as relaxed and amazing as always. Liz, thank you for being here. I'm gonna jump straight into the first question because I wanna get the value out of this. Why did you decide to become the CEO of your own company? Why did you decide to join the ranks of the entrepreneurs?

Basically because I had to. I can't turn off the gene, the entrepreneurial gene. My dad was an inventor. He held over 100 patents and so you know every night around the dinner table. We'd be discussing what he did today and then getting into the nitty gritty of how things worked and, you know, he was an engineer, forefather of the automatic warehousing systems industry. And but he died when I was 20 and so I didn't really get to have him as a resource in the my adult years. And so I worked for other companies, and found the ceos doing a really bad job. Yeah.

That's 5 international industrial design awards were for tennis rackets and it was a huge innovation to we had, this size hole in the racket so that there was less vibration. These series of rackets won all these awards. And then the CEO threw them in the trash, replaced them with a plastic insert, and, you know, quality players don't play with plastic instead of the carbon fiber. So you know and then another company for the Ceo just you know screwed over That you canceled a huge contract with Disney that I built, over the course of a year and a half. And so it was like, these guys are getting it wrong. We need all of the pieces to work. We need from a beautiful idea to people getting it production being, you know, spot on using environmental methods, then we have to market it to the right people in the right way, and then we have to just distribute it. So all of these things are critical to making anything successful.
