Do you have more than one use for eCamm? For example, do you have different shows that you produce? Do you have presentations that you have to do? Do you use ECAMM for work purposes? Do you use ECAMM to go live on Instagram? Do you use ECAMM for client work? This is where profiles come in. So everything that I've mentioned and more, you can create a separate profile, a separate workspace for each of those things. And each profile is going to have their dedicated scenes, overlays, branding, camera effects, even the resolution of the video, the stream shape, whether it's tall or wide, all of that will be allocated to a specific profile. So you don't have to have a bunch of folders allocated to one profile. With different projects going on, different shows, different podcasts and whatnot. You can have a separate profile for each of those things. Let me show you how to do that. Creating a profile is super easy.

Right up here under profile you have the options to create a new blank profile, duplicate your current profile, export the current profile, as well as delete and rename. But before that, I want to show you that we're on the block by block profile. And we have three scenes here, right? We have the countdown scene, we have the main scene, and we have the interview scene. Also, let's say we went to our camera effects. You'll notice here that there are some tweaks to the temperature settings, the tint and the gamma. In addition to that, if we go to our system preferences, we have our stream or recording resolution is set to 4K. Our shape of the video is wide 69 and our frame rate is 30 frames per second. Right? So all of these settings are specific to this current profile.

Let's say we want to record a video for ig. We're going to do a vertical video. We might not want to record vertical video on this wide shaped stream here. So let's go to create a brand new profile for that. We're going to go up here to profile and if you notice, I have tons of profiles here for different purposes, different projects and different things, right? But we're going to go to new blank profile and we're going to rename our new profile hit. Okay, it's going to load up that profile for you. And right now we're on a brand new profile. We have our default scene here that we could rename to main and we want to go to vertical format, right? So we can go back to system preferences here and the stream size.

Let's say we want to record in 1080 instead of 4K for this stream shape, we'll change this to tall and we'll leave the frame rate as is. And now, as you can see, I have the black borders on the sides. I am now going to be able to record in vertical format. If I wanted to tweak my camera effects, I would come back here and you notice that everything is set to zero because we're on a clean slate. So you would have to tweak your camera effects. If you have anything where you're going to include sound effects, you would have to add your sound effects here on this profile as well. Because. Because when you're switching between profiles, those sound effects, your music audio files will not carry over from one profile to the next.

You'll have to manually add those back. Okay, if you wanted to rename your profile, you can come up here as well and select Rename Current Profile. It will prompt you to rename it. If you want to delete the profile, you can do the same. Come up here and select Delete Current Profile and it will prompt you to delete it as well. And if you wanted to export the profile, you can select Export Current Profile and it's going to prompt you to export it. And if you notice down here, include stream size, frame rate, aspect and quality. If you want to export all of this, you make sure that this is checked.
